About this deal

Roadskin Taranis Elite | The single-layer Roadskin Taranis Elite jeans are perfect proof that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get AAA-rated single layer jeans. Comfortable, well made and holding the armour in place very well, we appreciate the Level 2 armour that comes as standard, but would love to see the option of D3O Ghost armour for an even slimmer style (you can fit it yourself if you want.) The rig does not take into account the energy that’s transferred to the material as you fall; that initial impact can make a huge difference. Fit is true to size... I am 32 waist in normal jeans and 32 was good fit so no need to size up to take account of the armour. Merlin Maynard | Merlin’s Maynard jeans are extremely lightweight and breathable. We love the included D3O Ghost armour and thoughtful design touches. These are part-lined jeans, with extra protection at the key impact areas, including the bum, but they feel just like normal fashion jeans to wear. RST X Kevlar Tech Pro | These part-lined jeans are styled to look a lot more like bike kit than the other, more casual-looking kit in our recommendations, but the accordion panels help to keep the Level 2 armour in exactly the right place. The RSTs have also been tested by Motocap , where they received impressive results.

Armour comes in all shapes and sizes; make sure it’s comfortable and that it covers the right areas then stays there br />•Delivered in an exclusive canvas bag with T-shirt and Sas-Tec Air knee and hip protectors TheREV’IT!Alpha RF Chinos come included with removable SEESMART™knee armour that is slim, flexible and barely noticeable under the pants to retain the fashionableskinnyleg look. It offers the same unique molecular structure, allowing the material to transform kinetic energy from an impact into thermal energy. Sa1nt's one of our favorite denim makers for riding because they don't cut corners. For instance, they knit with Dyneema, a material that's 15 times stronger than steel, and unlike other materials some brands use, Dyneema doesn't impact that coveted "jeans" feel. This matters: Even though these earn a CE AA rating, they fit and feel exactly like any denim you'd wear for any application, and that means you WILL choose these dungarees for any ride, probably over your more technical trousers, and that's okay—because at least it means you're not ripping around in a pair of dungarees that aren't designed to save your epidermis during a slide. The Cambridge machine is used to test abrasion resistance under EN13595, and gives a time to failure You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways: Vented Vented Jeans feature perforations or have zip opening vents to offer airflow to keep the body cool. Many brands supply their jeans quite long, so this might not suit riders with a shorter leg, while others offer varying lengths and some will adjust the length of your jeans to suit you, free of charge. Personally, I don’t like turn-ups on a bike as I seem to keep getting the footpegs caught in them. How many times have you ridden down your favourite road to find it covered in loose chippings? That’s recently-applied surface dressing. These only come in regular length 32" inseam. I usually wear 34"in jeans. The length is actually OK for me when not on the bike buy once sitting on the bike they do come up a bit short. I will probably wear with a pair of my longer boots so won't be an issue. Would be good if Oxford offered long (and perhaps short) leg lengths. In England, these motorways and major A-roads are looked after by National Highways, who told me that while they generally use what’s called a thin surface course system (asphalt) that by its nature provides a smoother finish for road users, this government agency only looks after about 2-3% of the country’s roads.

When I’m riding faster and further, I tend to wear AAA-rated lined jeans. Not the heaviest-duty ones as I still want to be able to spend the day in them comfortably, and I’ve done that in the much hotter climates of Spain and the US. I wear these as I understand that layering of materials can significantly increase abrasion resistance. Again, I’ll always have full armour fitted. We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

Single layer motorcycle jeans tend to be made of denim (cotton) with a tougher material woven in, but there has been an increase in jeans that have a denim look, while being made entirely of man-made fibres. REV'IT! have relocated the crotch seams of a traditionally constructed jean pattern to allow for greater freedom of movement and comfort while sitting on the bike—especially for extended periods of time. This small but critical design is invisible whether on or off the bike and helps eliminate painful pressure points plus it ensures the waistband of the trousers stays in place when seated. Extra Comfort By Mechanical StretchSome moto clothing is so benign, you could remove the armor and happily wear it as "normal" garb, which makes that spend a little less painful. It's nice to know you're buying riding jeans that can save your ass and also make your ass look like it's encased in denim, not some super high-tech material nobody sane would wear on the street. What type of riding do you plan to do? A tapered fit creates a contemporary silhouette whilst offering similar levels of practicality as a roomier straight leg fit. A crotch gusset has been added to give extra flexibility which, coupled with a precisely selected amount of fabric stretch, helps to prevent the hem of the pant from riding up when sat on the bike. If you work in an office or profession where you can't wear jeans, the Draggin Chinos will be a greataddition to your wardrobe. These cleverly disguised motorcycledress pants can be worn without anyone suspectingyou ride a motorcycle. You'll save time by not having to change and still look professional. Reinforced with Draggin's RooMoto MR7+protective lining using genuine DuPont™ Kevlar® fibre. Draggin Jeans have been independently tested to provide more than 7.46 seconds or 70 metres of slide time. For added impact protection these Chino riding pants can be fitted with optional Draggin Knee Armour soldseparately as a pair.
