Finally, Tolkien's facsimile signature is missing from the title-page of the 2022 editions, not sure why and the 2022 copyright page makes no mention of the 2013 editions. Continuing my quest for the perfect Unwin Books set (the first 3-volume paperback edition) of The Lord of the Rings… These are very nice, and the sleeve is the best I’ve seen.

The books themselves are considerably larger than previous Folio Society editions, so one small criticism is that they don’t line up with all my other Tolkien Folio Society books ! With the incredible quality of the first season, The Rings of Power will be worth the wait… especially if you have a chess set to keep you occupied!
