About this deal

To me, this opens up in a spicy way and there's a bit of citrus in the opening that adds a certain kind of richness to the spiciness. Good, bad and ugly. This is probably the best scent I ever smelled. A sweet and seductive super gourmand EDP that is male oriented. Delicious. However the performance is really bad. The ultimate compliment getter that no one will ever be able to complement on. Tom Ford launched Tom Ford Noir Eau de Parfum in 2012, followed by Tom Ford Noir Eau de Toilette in November 2013. In May 2015, he prepared a new version of the fragrance called Tom Ford Noir Extreme. My point is: if you wear it the way you love it, it is everything you want it to be cause it's very powerful. Its like David Bowie and Prince . All at once.

It’s the Bruce Wayne of fragrances — classic and refined in presentation with a dark, heroic and mysterious alter ego. Eau de Scent I love scents with character and I am def a fan of perfume playing with your chemistry, weather, mood etc. That's why my question is: I immediately took it because I knew it was the one! And I don't regret it - it's more than good for autumn and it's pure love with its beauty and concentration!😍❤️

One of my wife’s supreme favorites of the 100+ that I have sampled or bought is…..La Nuit de L’Homme. I spray it and smell it on many nights of the past year. This fragrance is stunning. Wasn't expecting that at all. Easily one of the best Tom Ford releases in recent times. To my nose this is suitably different and certainly a lot better than the original, which I wasn't a fan of. It was intensely ambery and sweet. (So not sure why people are saying this is virtually the same as the original) It's clearly not?? Just because there's an amber note in the dry down. Other than that, the opening of this is completely different. It reminds me a lot of the now discontinued Tom ford anthracite but a lot classier. And if you look at tom ford's description in store, it mentions that this is now intensified with dark woods and spice. So thats about right. There is agar woods, leather and essence of some oud in here. Very sophisticated middle eastern vibe going on. Amazed this has not been put in the private blend. I know others recognize the kulfi accord, but I do not. I recently spent two weeks in India, from Delhi to Pune to Agra to Dehradun at the foot of the Himilayas. I tried kulfi everywhere and in many flavors hoping to find anything remotely in the ballpark, but nothing came close. There may have been a kulfi recipe one time that inspired this fragrance, but is was impossible to find despite my gaining five pounds looking for it. That is ok, I had never heard of kulfi when I first smelled this fragrance, so I was not really disappointed that the kulfi-connection never materialized. So I’m looking for something delicious and warm and sexy. That is close to skin and not sharp or strong or overly projecting. Tom Ford Noir Extreme is undeniably sensual and extremely delicious. I asked a few other fragrance reviewers for their thoughts and here are their responses:

This scent is heavy on cardamom from the first second I spray it until it completely fades from my skin 12 hours later but it’s more than just a cardamom scent. It has lots of supporting notes amongst which the most detectable to my nose are: kulfi, vanilla and amber, orange blossom, neroli, rose, jasmine, citruses, ginger, suede, cedar, guaiac wood and tonka bean. It’s a very intense, delicious, dimensional fragrance, well blended and nicely balanced between all these complex notes, and it’s leaning gourmand on me. Moderate spiciness and sweetness, nothing in excess. At the top, I get the cardamon, I get the vanilla, and I get a little saffron, but not enough saffron to result in a leather accord. The mandarin is very subtle. It has an amber feel, and the sandalwood lingers along with the spices, and this with the powdery feel, defines the scent. Tom Ford launched Noir Extreme Parfum in 2022 and it has become one of my favourites from the Signature Collection. Instantly, the word ‘Parfum’ and mirrored gold bottle made me expect something big and bold. Not sure where people are getting an "old lady" vibe from but to each their nose. I get a beautiful rich and complex spice, vanilla, sweet wood and the tiniest hint of rose/floral (not heavy like the rose in Noir De Noir). The kufli note is absolutely divine and my favourite part of the fragrance, it smells lovely! I tried to find this kind of perfume several times, but without really finding these memories of nostalgia. At the heart of the fragrance is tantalizing Indian kulfi—an accord inspired by the ancient royal concoction prepared for 16th century Mughal emperors. This milky creation, which traditionally consists of Himalayan snow combined with hints of pistachio, is delivered unexpectedly into the core of the fragrance via lentisque resinoid, which is chosen for its crisp & cool, yet lactonic effect. An array of floral notes—rose absolute, jasmine accord and orange flower—radiate like rare gems on virgin snow. This heart gives Noir Extreme its exceedingly desirable, yet tantalizingly unknowable, attractiveness.

The bottle is quite simple yet luxurious. No frills and the font fits the bottle. It really fits the scent. Atomizer is above average, but no Chanel quality. There is no power. It smells like a scent that has the potential to be very powerful. The truth is that the projection is limited from the get-go. Longevity is ok, but only as a skin scent. This bottle you buy for yourself, not for the audience. And what a pity that is. They should reformulate this. It's not the kind of perfume that appeals to the youngest (my children don't like it), but rather for the 38 and over age group. This lasts all day on me and consistently projects an arm's length with a heavy sillage. It's enough projection to enjoy all day without smoking people out of the room. In my opinion, yes, Noir Extreme Parfum is unisex. Due to the spicy sensuality, I know all genders enjoy it, particularly more men than women, which makes sense. Sometimes I feel Noir Extreme Eau de Parfum has more of a feminine side out of the two due to its softer, more floral composition. That said, all Tom Ford perfumes have blurred the gender lines. I have male and female friends that wear it and neither care; they love the scent.

I am middle-aged husband and dad of three small kids. My wife and I don’t have the freedom or energy to go out on the town for date nights, and of course not in the dating/hookup scene. So my use case for evening sexy intimate scents is lightly spray after shower at 10pm and go down to have sexy time with my wife 2-3 times a week. This is so incredibly good. It is a little sweet, a little powdery, and exotic with its spices. It is unique to me, and I have a decent collection and have smelled way more designers and niche than I own. The bottle does this stuff justice because the scent is liquid gold. Overall, it's a warm, masculine, comforting, and perfectly balanced blend that improves upon the EDP in many ways. I'm not convinced that I can tell how this is wholly different from the EDP. I know I am know I am not thinking that I would be disappointed if I had requested this but had been bought the EDP instead. Its the same with Ombre Leather.

Since starting this blog in 2020, I have reviewed a lot of versatile fragrances. Tom Ford Noir Extreme is not one of them. I classify Noir Extreme as a special occasion scent – it’s perfect for dates and intimate encounters when you want to make a statement on your partner. Furthermore, I doubt you’d be surprised to hear that this fragrance works best when worn in the cooler months of the year. Noir Extreme Parfum lastest around 12 hours on my skin, and hours later, I could still smell it in my hair when I went to bed. When I sprayed my wool jumper (as I knew I wouldn’t wash it as frequently) I could still smell it a week later. I don't know if there's enough in either the fragrance notes or the performance to be a completely different fragrance. So in that part it is akin t being a true Parfum (if you believe all that crap). The woody notes are revealed more once the fragrance starts to dry on skin. They provide a creamy, luxurious, and mature presence here. They’re blended with the other notes in a way that feels so effortless. Noir Extreme Perfume it was a love at first sniff. I remember testing it for the first time in Milan in Sephora during early spring. I was very impressed with the way it smells and performs but in my opinion it’s mainly a fall and winter scent so I said I will give it another try before deciding to buy when falls comes. Tested it last week and nothing changed, it’s really delicious. Before I bought this, I tried it at a Sephora. Like many of their testers, the fragrance lost some of its power and I only got to smell the drydown. The drydown is vanilla and leather, and I was happy enough to buy a fresh bottle to get the whole scent profile. An amber-drenched, woodyfragrance with a tantalizing, delectable heart, Noir Extreme dares to make a more extravagant gesture by pushing noir's themes of refinement and seductiveness to their edges. Every aspect of the composition is intensified to capture the totality of a man's impeccable outer expression and his alluring inner nature. An absolutely beautiful composition, the individual notes are some of my favourites: delicious, natural-smelling and impeccably selected to work together in real harmony. It's well-blended, but not in such a way as to be a blunt wall of smell - the individual notes twinkle in and out of being like distant stars .
