About this deal

Now, all the above show that ZE3000 is a truly sophisticated design, which is not surprising for a Final product. Is the sound of ZE3000 equally sophisticated? Let’s find out! These earbuds were really made with the philosophy of "do one thing, and do it well". So there's no ANC, no transparency etc. But that's ok, because in other earbuds I have found these things to be more of a marketing tactic, and not serving any useful purpose.

final also developed the f-LINK damping system to regulate the air pressure within the shells without introducing a vent. They did this to produce a high-fidelity sound while maintaining the IPX4 water-resistance rating. Controls and Bluetooth Connection earbuds body and charging case are lightweight resin housings. They have a soft-textured "Shibo" (anThe mid-treble peak can give rise to sibilance in very rare cases (e.g., David Bowie’s Under Pressure) and adds a sense of “zing” to hi-hats and cymbals. I did not find the treble too offensive for the most part, but it’s something to take note of. The ZE3000 is IPX4 graded for water resistance while decent sound quality is maintained. That means you don’t need to worry to use it in the rain and it can withstand moisture or light water splashes. Less assured is Final’s call quality, which is below average – a story of being good in quiet areas but leaky in busy and loud areas. In quiet places, the person on the other end of the line was able to hear me clearly. However, walking past building and construction work was problematic, my voice drowned out by the amount of noise. For calls, you’d want to find a quiet place. The ZE3000 features nicely rounded edges on the inside face of the shells, but the outside has that characteristic Final angular design, similar to the B1 and A8000. While the tone remains exceptionally balanced as it goes into the center of the frequency spectrum, it leans into its high mids more than its lower mids. I wouldn’t call the low mids scooped; it’s more like they stay neutral as the high mids add some crunch to snares and emphasize the fry in vocals a little more than they do the fundamental. I do think a little more warmth in the low mid area could have been afforded since it’s not like it would be competing with an overly boosted bass response. That is mostly a speculative critique; while the ze2000 isn’t what I would call warm, it’s not sterile or empty either, and ultimately I was very pleased with its handling of the middle frequencies.

Final ZE3000 | Headphone Reviews and Discussion Review: Final ZE3000 | Headphone Reviews and Discussion

The sound of the Final Audio ZE3000 can be characterized by three aspects: a natural and clean sound with a wide soundstage. Coming into this, I had only the A4000 and my Sonorous III as reference points. While I appreciated the A4000, and like my Sonorous III very much, I was not sure what to expect. To say I was impressed is indeed an understatement as a result. Compared to the Echo, the ZE3000 has a brighter tonality due to its bass neutrality and more forward treble. The final has a tighter bass compared to the Echo which has more density and impact in the lows. In terms of tonal balance… I think I’ll give the edge to the A3000 here. Nicely put, the A4000 is one that is forward in the upper frequencies, though if I may be blunt the A4000 has the dreaded combo of being both shouty and strident. It’s a spicy IEM in that you better make sure that you’re someone truly looking for said spiciness, else you’re going to have a bad time. While the resolution is limited in a TWS design there is still sufficient resolving power to handle a small band and quartets pretty well, and the way it renders the staging performs really well with live recordings. The center area of the membrane is maximized for higher efficiency and light-weight material is used on the supporting structure around the membrane.

The ZE3000 offer Bluetooth 5.2, but doesn’t support multi-point pairing, so they can’t be connected to two devices at once. Pairing them with an iPhone 13 mini meant I had to disconnect from an Android smartphone, which automatically put them in pairing mode. That’s the easiest way I’ve found of connecting to a new device. Video and gaming performance is excellent as well. The Bluetooth 5.2 has very little latency meaning there are no sync issues when watching videos or YouTube and almost imperceptible delay when playing fast-paced games. Sound By using their chamber design and tuning expertise, final has created a delightfully natural expansive and expansive soundstage that is low in distortion also. It is an immersive-sounding TWS earphone perfect for those who prefer an airy sound. Bass ImpactYou can experience the effort that goes into bringing forward higher fidelity and musicality through Along with the ZE3000 TWS, final released their first wireless headphones UX3000 equipped with ANC and hybrid noise canceling, an interesting exercise that blends together Japanese el The IPX4 rating means that the ZE3000 are secure from minor splashes and water sprays, but there is no dust protection. Software For the purposes of this review, the source I primarily used was the Sony ZX300 (hardware modded by Nayparm, and using MrWalkman’s ‘Midnight Plus’ free custom firmware), since this would be the use-case combination I would be most likely to employ on a regular basis. With the mids, there’s warmth and weight coming through from that satisfying mid-bass; it doesn’t cause any muddiness here though, a detail which is aided by what sounds to me like a lift in the upper-mids. It’s not to the same degree of something comparatively extreme like the excellent Empire Ears Odin, and not even as much as the Campfire Audio Saber which I recently reviewed and enjoyed greatly.
