Arianna and Cam are vivacious, flirtatious, and love life. The boys are very protective of them and have been forever. Although Arianna "loves" Chase, Mason has insisted that his best friends are to have NOTHING to do with his "baby sister". One night Arianna crosses a line with Chase (she kissed him) to test the attraction and she became hard for him to ignore. He tried. Starting out I loved this book. I couldn't put it down! I love a good brother's best friend trope! The adventures their little group went on were fun and it was cool how close they were. i’m an empty mess now that it’s done. don’t call or text. im in denial. did I really finish if I just pretend I didn’t? Honestly, I don't really like the author's writing. And the story and characters are just totally unrealistic; it's clear that the author writes from a list of plot points she wants to hit without truly doing any world or character building. Just like an actor takes on a role and has to understand the nuances for how characters would behave in certain instances, author's also need to do this work to bring their characters and worlds to life.

I was so upset finishing this book solely because I never wanted it to end. If i could read it over and over again forever, I would. This story was perfect and beautiful. But so heartbreaking and raw and painful. You will go through every emotion possible with this book. But it will leave you feeling complete. I will love this book forever and ever and will never stop thinking about it. This book is amazing and is one of my top 10 of the year! Sarah did an amazing Job at narration, unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of Lee, I didn’t feel like the emotion was there compared to how Sarah told the story. I loved the whole story every twist and turn. Nothing was ever too prolonged it was a true story of love and tragedy and overcoming all.

Arianna grew up in a loving home with an equally supportive network of friends. This is in stark contrast with Noah’s experiences. I loved how detailed the family interactions were. As a listener, I was completely invested in the outcome of the story. Eventually, it was obviously apparent to everyone that they were IN LOVE, the really-deeply-truly-soul searching kind of love, and Noah has no problem claiming Arianna proudly to everyone--including her brother. Enter Chase again... Now that Noah has her, Chase sees and wants her. He is green with envy and tries to interfere whenever he can. I'm not going to rate this book because it did bring out some emotions in me. I stewed in bed until I finally fell asleep and woke up still thinking about it. This is probably the longest review I've ever done. It probably makes zero sense because I am not a writer by any means. Wow, I didn’t expect to love this book so much and have so many emotions coursing through me. The story was beautiful and I loved it.I confess part of my draw to this title was seeing Lee Samuels was on board. He does not disappoint! He is the perfect Noah. Noah goes through so much and you feel it all: sweetness, lust, devotion, sorrow, determination, and of course most important, love. Anyway… other than that minor inconvenience, the book was perfection! I loved every second of it! And I noticed that Meagan Brandy’s writing style has improved a lot since the last time I’ve read a book of hers and I’m very proud of her for that!! Also, can I just add a more general observation. This is not particular to this book only, I’ve seen this done 100 times before and that’s the overprotective brother routine.
