About this deal

You agree to indemnify and hold Vax (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers, including but not limited to Bazaarvoice, Inc.), harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. For those really tough detail cleaning jobs Vax has also thrown in its mini turbo tool, making this a well tooled-up cleaner all round.

With a decent 1.5l capacity, this is a bagless vacuum that you won’t need to empty regularly, more than efficient for a home or small office. Use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity. The Vax Air Stretch Upright is an incredibly powerful vacuum. It is an energy efficient machine, using a relatively low amount of energy at only 800 Watts. Most vacuum cleaners will use somewhere between 500 and 3000 Watts. This means that you can keep your house impeccably clean when using the Air Stretch whilst also maintaining a lower carbon footprint. Need more? Vax also supplies an additional hose, also stored on the body, that you can add to the ever lengthening rig. Both the body hose and the extension hose are ludicrously stretchy and combined with the telescopic wand give an incredible reach around the room. Add the ridiculously long crevice tool and you could probably reach your neighbour’s house.That violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising); Don’t let the lightness of this vacuum fool you though. It was designed to deliver peak performance, whether it is being used on hard flooring or carpet. Another feature of the Air Stretch Upright is that it has a huge 17-meter reach. This means that you can clean large sections of your home or office without having to find another plug. And with the extension hose, you can clean from the floor to the ceiling with minimal effort. This also means you can clean an entire flight of stairs without needing to move the machine. The extra-long reach can help if you are needing to clean the sofa, in corners, or just general dusting in harder to reach sections of your home. The handle on the rather fetching green and grey body is telescopic for easy storage, and then unclips clear of the cleaner to form the main wand. The main flexible suction hose from the dust bin simply unclips from the side of the floor head and clips onto the wand. This gives you a reasonable reach, better than most upright cleaners in this respect in fact. That is, or may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership or corporation;

Absolutely no such issues on hard floors and the super suction power and close-to-floor head meant every bit of our test porridge oats was cleaned in a single pass. The head has rear plastic rollers and only the thinnest of felt sliders at the front edges, so it did sound rather rough running over heavily textured floor tiles. The low front edge didn’t seem to push any debris out of the way, though. That close-to-your-carpet action and beater bar from the floor head and great suction power did mean the Air Stretch cleaned open carpets very well. The floor looked well-groomed with the pile lifted where the cleaner had passed and the test powder was removed completely in a single pass. Having a canister with a 1.5-litre is more than sufficient to handle the everyday needs of the typical home or small office. However, if the vacuum is going to be used in high traffic and large areas a vacuum with a bigger capacity might be needed. Like all of the vacuums Vax has in their lineup, the Air Stretch Upright vacuum cleaner is designed to deliver superior performance in all of its features. Weighing in at less than 5 kg, the Air Stretch Upright can be carried around the house with ease, even when you need to go up or down the stairs.

As an upright, the Air Stretch Complete is quite a large cleaner with a firm feel in the hand. Its certainly no lightweight and, unusually these days, the head and the body only pivot up and down with no side to side movement. This makes steering distinctly old-school – pushing and pulling while moving a few inches over at a time. This came as quite a surprise after so many pivoting, steerable models on test but we soon got used to it.

While the Air Stretch Complete’s main asset is its ample cleaning reach (more on that later), Vax certainly hasn’t skimped on the accessories. Attached at the rear of the body is a three-way tool, comprising a small crevice tool with a slide down dusting brush one side and upholstery tool the other. Both of the latter are rather compact for cleaning larger areas, but not as ‘micro’ as some miniature tools we have seen lately. Edge cleaning results were also pretty good, thanks to the low positioned floor head and good suction. However, edge cleaning was better using the right side of the floor head compared to the left side – so this is a cleaner that favours right-handed users when it comes to edge cleaning. With a great performance across both carpets and hard floors – in part thanks to the multi-cyclonic technology that provides no loss of suction – this is a vacuum that won’t let you down. At 4.9kg it’s pretty lightweight for an upright vacuum cleaner, and with an extra-long 17m reach you won’t have trouble cleaning large or difficult to reach areas without having to continually move the machine. Add in the 3-in-1 tool and you should have everything you need to clean all the upholstery and crevices around your home.It’s not too noisy, though. While the 86dB rating sounds a bit intrusive, the reality over carpet is a good few dB less, even if it is a fair bit louder than models specifically designed to be quiet. For any content that you submit, you grant Vax a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you. Vax has included a 1.5-litre dust canister into the design of the Air Stretch Upright vacuum. This gives you the capacity to clean for longer before needing to make the trip to the bin to empty it. The Vax Air Stretch Upright is a bagless vacuum, so you don’t need to worry about replacement bags, which saves you a bit of money too.

If you are concerned about the loss of suction that occurs with many vacuums, then the Vax Air Stretch is the vacuum for you. It’s designed as a multi-cyclonic upright vacuum that will not lose suction as the canister reaches its fill limit. As long as the Air Stretch Upright is maintained according to the user manual, it’s guaranteed to not lose suction. You can keep the maximum amount of dirt and dust out of your home environment as possible.
