We get a bit of background information on Chainsaw Man himself which I will touch upon in the Characters section but Makima’s plan, if she succeeds and doesn’t die, is a bit noble; however, like more villains with noble aspirations, the way to achieve them is a bit extreme. However, the big news today, June 20th, is that the release date for Chainsaw Man Part 2 has now been set for July 13th, 2022!

Makima ends up using this to her advantage and agrees when she brings Denji home and he requests to make him one of her dogs. Despite this, Denji gets free and decides, in Chainsaw Man form, to go to Family Burger, eat some food, and kidnap Kobeni to go out on a date.

The second issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine would then revealed that the series would receive a “second part” that would be a direct continuation of chapter 97.
