Yes there are definitely good examples of siblings working together. Frankly I wish it were always so. Alas, when it goes off the rails its impact is pretty toxic. Those first two Oasis albums are pretty good, but I think their cultural impact outweighed their artistic legacy. This album made Oasis – in a sense – the Beatles of their generation at least in the UK. According to Ulrich, “Wherever or whoever you were when it was going down, you felt it … in the streets, in the pubs, the music press, on the radio, in the gossip rags, the concert halls, and affecting everything from the way people dressed, the way they cut their hair, what football team they supported, the way people communicated, one’s accent … the list goes on and on. Everyone had an opinion. Everybody had a thought. Nobody ignored them. No one.”Rahul from Ottawa, CanadaStop comparing Oasis to the Beatles for God's sake. It's just a ridiculous comparison. Both bands are legends in their own right.

Biden’s taken over and things are running fine.Originally there were two works-in-process titled ‘Blue’ and ‘The Mirror And The Razorblade’, which would later be amalgamated to become the title song of Oasis’s second album. Noel has previously stated that the song is about taking drugs with your friends, solving all the world’s problems, then waking up the next day with a massive hangover. The music video was made by legendary director Ridley Scott’s son Jake. Noel suggested the Foo Fighters ripped off the concept when they filmed ‘Monkey Wrench’.

Faster Than A Cannonball by Dylan Jones | Waterstones

Alan from IrelandI think this song is wide-open to interpretation as Renren says and touches people's nerves on some lyrics. So, with a recent slew of books proclaiming the 1990’s to be the last true decade of freedom and, in the case of Faster Than a Cannonball, their hefty lengths may encourage some that this is true. It’s important to have your critical filters on. These three lines are admittedly more difficult to analyse than the previous bits: obviously he is consulting-- or asking her to consult -- the source of something; "her", perhaps the source of his inspiration, the subconscious part of his mind that produces these lyrics, "and ask her why": attempt to decipher the true meaning of the song, of if he (Noel) or she is interested in truly understanding its purpose.]

Someday they will see that you can be in the top of the world it was like when you feel down and when you get motivated you want to show em' something. something you can feel your proud of. they will see that you can do something and that one day your dreams can come true If the defining narrative of Nineties culture was the journey from tremendous optimism and underdog creativity to excess and disappointment, then neither book completes the picture: Brooke-Smith downplays the good times while Jones minimises the crash. Still, one can’t help but share Finneas’s yearning for a decade when it was reasonable to feel that today is brilliant and tomorrow will be even better. ‘The sense of possibility in the nineties was really important,’ Steve McQueen tells Jones. ‘It was only a moment, and it didn’t last for long, but it was important all the same.’ For People Who Devour Books Stand up beside the fireplace, take that look from off your face/You ain’t ever gonna burn my heart out.” By his own account in Supersonic, younger brother Liam had not much interest in music. Then, “during his teens, he suffered a blow to the head with a hammer from a student at a rival school, which he credits with changing his attitude towards music.
