About this deal
Each tree is battery-operated and the bulbs DO NOT come out. We see this as a plus because the plastic lights won’t fall out, which is very typical of other brands of ceramic Christmas trees, and therefore do not need to be replaced. My mom didn’t just stop at one ceramic Christmas tree. Oh no. We exceeded expectations at my house. I distinctly remember there being at least five of these ceramic trees at my house in the early 1980s, painted to match the decor in certain rooms. I especially remember a beautiful white one with a translucent green glaze and all-white lights in our living room. It perfectly matched our pale green velvet couches. Sooner or later, every person into ceramics brought home a lighted ceramic Christmas tree. Come on now, you know what I’m talking about, right? If you grew up in the 1970s or 1980s, chances are your mom or grandma would head out one night a week to pursue her favorite hobby. Lots of people in that era were into ceramics. They would go to ceramics shops, where they would choose unfinished ceramic items, paint them, and leave them to be fired in a kiln to reach their fullest hardened, glossy potential.
