Matrix/Runout:STE-60439-A-DMM-1, SP0-1 SM1-2, Sterling Sound - Dmm-1, ED M1 SF1 SM1 / STE-60439-B-DMM-1, SP0-1 SM1-2, Sterling Sound-Dmm-1, ED M1 SF1 SM1 This pressing it sound very similar to the "MFN 1st pressing". You can heard the same things. The music is quiet mastered and you get the same dead sound without explosion or any brightness. Also the instruments are very weak and barely come out from your speakers. You can feel the same things and in the 1st "France" pressing of "Ride the Lightning" that was pressed by "MPO". So yeah i want to stay away from these mastering plants. Bassist Robert Trujillo cited Master of Puppets as his favorite album, "I feel Master of Puppets has a lot of everything. It's got instrumentals, it's got great segues, great riffs. It's got one of my favorite songs ever by Metallica, and that song is "Disposable Heroes". So any time I can hear that particular song, count me in. "Battery" is an amazing song. So it's just got everything that I love about Metallica." [52] Accolades and legacy [ edit ]

Moore, Ryan (2010). Sells Like Teen Spirit: Music, Youth Culture, and Social Crisis. New York University Press. p. 100. ISBN 978-0-8147-5747-5. For those of us still marvelling at their unparalleled and sophisticated leap from the Kill ’Em All debut to their Ride The Lightning album, Master was a whole other level of erudition. Strange to think now that there was outrage in some quarters when they introduced acoustic guitars to the audience at Hammersmith Odeon (think Bob Dylan’s ‘Judas’ debacle when he went electric, but in reverse) on the Lightning tour. Though if their audience and critics were still clinging to the past, Metallica were marching purposefully forward to the beat of their own drum (toms and double bass drums, mostly), setting the spark to the flame of a genuine musical revolution. Elektra Specialty Press. Very similar to Allied pressing but has some few noises in the Welcome Home and Damage inc but nothing serious Anderson, Kyle (March 3, 2011). a b Popoff, Martin (2005). The Collector's Guide to Heavy Metal: The Eighties. Vol.2. Collector's Guide Publishing. p.223. ISBN 978-1-894959-31-5. This pressing has the explosion of the "1st Elektra US" pressings and also amazing power. Also you can feel the power of the drums here. In the "Japanese" and "MFN" original pressings you do not feel any power from the drums but in this pressing you get that. Also the music is very sharp but is thin and it lags on bass. To be honest, i prefer the album like that. I want "Master of Puppets" sharp with tight sound. No noisy sound or an extra bass like the "Vertigo" 89 EU pressing. Greatest Guitar Solos: 51–100". Guitar World. October 30, 2008. Archived from the original on October 16, 2014 . Retrieved July 30, 2013.

If you asked me before some time i would say to you this is one amazing pressing of the album and one of my favorites. Still it is but right now i believe i have a better image because i have listened more album pressings. Hodgson, Pete (March 24, 2013). "Gear: Metallica–The Ultimate Shredhead's Guide". Australian Guitar . Retrieved November 24, 2014. The runout(s) of this release combine the cat# & runout of the EU (deleted or not prefix) and the UK release. Discos de oro y platino" (in Spanish). Cámara Argentina de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas. Archived from the original on July 6, 2011 . Retrieved October 4, 2019. Right now my votes goes to "Allied pressing" but if you find this pressing, get a copy soon. Is much cheaper than the "Allied" Pressing and you get the same sound quality. It's a bargain.

McIver, Joel (2005). Dimery, Robert (ed.). 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die (1sted.). Universe Publishing. p.548. ISBN 978-0-7893-1371-3. Machine Head, Trivium, Mastodon Pay Tribute to Metallica On 'Remastered' CD". Blabbermouth.net. March 21, 2006 . Retrieved June 11, 2013. P.S: This version remind you a lot the "MFN 45 RPM of 1987. Both of them have big mass and they sounding very loud with punchy sound. All in all, is one great pressing compare it with the 80% pressings of the album out there but it can't touch the truly best pressings of the album and that's is the problem. Still it's a amazing and very rare/expensive material to have in your collection.
