About this deal

The Casio AE1200 is a watch that I have had my eye on for a little while, it is by no means an expensive watch and it has an excellent retro feel. The watch itself is popular not only for its price but for a more than passing resemblance to the Seiko G757 5020 Sports 100, now it is not an exact match but has the look and feel of this watch. So what is the appeal of the Sports 100, and why would watch enthusiasts want a similar watch? In one word, Bond. In 1983 the Sports 100 was the watch of choice for Roger Moore in the 13th James Bond movie Octopussy. The case is rated to 10ATM, 100 meters (300 ft) water resistance which is good for swimming and snorkelling, you can’t take this watch diving but for most other water sports you should be fine, a more than admirable water resistance for a budget watch. Daily Alarms: Each will sound every day at the time you set, Hourly time signal: The watch beeps every hour on the hour

Next up was nail polish remover. According to the accounts I read, it works great, you just have to be a little careful. Considering myself to be a careful fellow, I borrowed a bottle from my wife and dabbed a Q-Tip for round two. Sadly, I had forgotten that acetone, the key ingredient, is the natural enemy of all manner of coatings and plastics. It took the letters off like nothing, but one more rub and the case paint came too. Then it started eating the case. Shit. The AE1200 watches are exceeding clever, super cheap, and all my digital-bashing aside, rather nice looking too. But there is one more thing. You can easily modify them, even going so far as to give them steel cases. As you can see in the first photo, I’ve already started down that road… Powered by a Casio 3299 Module, with an accuracy of -/+30 seconds a month and has a 10 year battery life. We are also able to offer an exchange to a different product if required, please specify this when returning your product. The crystal is of an acrylic or resin type, so hard wearing, cheep, but easy to scratch, not a major issue as this can be corrected with Brasso and a little elbow grease. It sits about 1mm proud of the top plastic layer and is flat, I have not encountered any lensing or distortion effects in general usage.

For fans of precision: the countdown timers help you to remember specific or recurring events by giving off an audible signal at a preset time. They The time can be set to the nearest second and up to 24 hours in advance. Perfect for swimming and snorkelling: the watch is water resistant to 10 bar according to ISO 22810. Complete the short form that accompanies your product. Please ensure that you complete all of the sections, as this will guarantee the timely processing of your return/exchange. hồ Casio AE-1200WHD có rất nhiều chức năng. Trong đó những chức năng cơ bản được nhiều người quan tâm phải kể đến như:

The daily alarm reminds you about recurring events with an acoustic signal at the time you have set. This model has 5 independent alarms for flexible reminders of important appointments. Khả năng kháng nước đến 10ATM, đồng hồ thách thức mọi điều kiện ngay cả khi đi bơi lội cũng không ảnh hưởng 5. Tuổi thọ pin đến 10 năm Elapsed time, split time and final time are measured with 1/100-sec accuracy. The watch can measure times of up to 24 hours. The first thing I noticed was how light the Casio is. I think the battery may well be the heaviest part of this watch. For those of us accustomed to wearing automatics and big divers, it can be a little disconcerting, particularly since it doesn’t look small. It is nearly 42mm wide, excluding the four buttons (41.8mm to be precise), and that is pretty darn big for a square watch, but short lugs bring its overall length to just 45mm, which is a tidy fit on my 6.75″ wrist. A 12.6mm case height doesn’t hurt either. In the end, you have a compact watch that still has enough room to display a ton of information. Measuring Capacity: 24 hours, Measuring Modes: Elapsed time, split time, 1st-2nd place times, Measuring Unit: 1/100th secondOur nominated carrier is Parcel Force. During the “Quartz Revolution” in the 1970s, Casio expanded and became one of the first brands to create quartz watches which solidified the brand as an innovator in horological society. The brand’s timepieces are affordable and long-wearing, making them a favourite to both enthusiasts and everyday people. With the large variety of wristwatches and their commitment to progress, it is no surprise Casio has remained amongst the giants in the industry. So if you recall, in Casio AE1200, Part 1: The Review, I discovered this tidy little digital gem and rapidly acquired a small collection of them. In part the second, I will tell you how I set about improving/ruining them a bit, and fitting proper replacement straps. The button tones on the mode button can be switched off for discreet operation. Pre-set alarm or timer functions remain active. The resin housing is the ideal everyday companion. It is durable, lightweight and relatively insensitive to cold, heat or other external influences. When I cast a close eye on the case, I was both surprised and disappointed. I was pleased to see how the guards around the buttons are so clearly defined, but that plastic mold parting line around the mid-case is pretty awful. I also had to question the wisdom of those faux fasteners at the corners. I know the Bond Seiko had them too, but those Roger Moore movies had all kinds of stupid shit in them. You need to be reasonable about such things. None of the edges are terribly crisp, but where that might bug me on a metal watch, I didn’t think twice about them on this plastic unit.
