About this deal

s The Wonder Book was the last numbered book in the series to contain new, original scenes, as The Great Picture Hunt and The Incredible Paper Chase contain both new scenes and older ones from The Ultimate Fun Book and The Magnificent Poster Book, as these books are no longer in print. Wally, whose name was localised for certain international editions, for example Waldo in North American and Swedish editions. Over time, more characters were added to find in each scene. Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of our framed artwork, we are unable to ship artwork outside of the UK mainland due to the risk of damage to the product.

The record was beaten in 2017 when 4,626 people dressed as Wally gathered in Japan, after three failed attempts. [19]Whyte, Alexandra (5 April 2018). "Universal Kids finds new Where's Waldo? series". Kidscreen . Retrieved 8 March 2019. Where's Wally? The Fantastic Journey (US title: The Great Waldo Search, renamed Where's Waldo? The Fantastic Journey later) (1989)

The book series launched in 1987 in the UK, with Wally as its titular character; later that same year, the series was launched in the US, where Wally was introduced as Waldo. The series took off, becoming a sensation within only a few years and eventually morphing into a TV series in both the US and the UK, a comic strip, several video games (including one due out this September from Ubisoft), and even a few magazines (in the UK and Australia, Wally went on weekly adventures to new countries, which he reported on his children's geographical and cultural magazine, Wally's World). The Wally Watchers are Wally's devoted fan-club that first appeared in Where's Wally? The Ultimate Fun Book (1990). They turn up wherever Wally goes, dressed in the same red-and-white striped outfit. While 25 appear in most books, there are in comparison, 99 of them in the Ultimate Fun Book. Where's Wally?, Where's Wally Now?, The Fantastic Journey, In Hollywood and The Wonder Book special editions As for your question of where to go on the way up, that’s a real tough one. Suffolk and Cornwall/Devon are so different. You did say you hated crowds though and Cornwall is soo busy right now, it’s where EVERY family and their dog will be heading in August (ourselves included!) august 15-31st are our school summer holidays. But it’s busy because it definitely has the prettiest beaches. It is possible to find quiet areas in Cornwall but you have to be stealthy! The best chances of that are on the south coast of both devon and Cornwall as there are quite a few beaches where you have to park and walk to, so you can imagine they attract less people. I think for a 14 year old the option of Cornwall definitely would be more appealing because of the surfing opportunities. In addition to these there are also a number of Waldo Watchers in this scene and I have circled them in the image below:
