About this deal

The standard photography and panorama features continue to exist, without much change to their functionality, and the countdown feature in photography mode is useful when setting up shots in which the camera operator needs to appear. The video quality is generally excellent, although there's definitely a reduction in quality towards the edges of the video, something that's the case in photo mode as well. There's chromatic aberration and a loss of definition in these areas, something that becomes exaggerated with the wide-angle lens. I hope this message finds you well. I'm a member of the DJI community and have been actively usi...

Imaging performance: The sensor has been upgraded from 1/1.7 inches to 1 inch to deliver high-resolution footage in various scenarios, low-noise night shots, high-dynamic range capabilities in high-contrast scenarios, and support for 4K/120fps. You can set the rest of the camera settings via the touch screen. The 2-inch screen looks a little smaller than its size implies due to its wide 16:9 aspect ratio. It's easy enough to see the frame when you roll full-width video, but the frame preview is very small (just one square inch) if you opt for 1:1 aspect recording. (Credit: Jim Fisher) Operating the camera with the gimbal is relatively straightforward and responsive. I feel it would have made sense for the gimbal to switch direction when in selfie mode, but maybe that’s just personal preference; it just seems counterintuitive to be pushing the gimbal left only to find that the camera is rotating right.Editors savvy enough to grade footage might want to swap over to the flat D-Log M profile. It lowers contrast and saturation for a picture that's more malleable to edits. If you want to apply a creative look or simply need to deal with a tough scene with more contrast than the Standard profile can handle, it's worth using D-Log. video recording is only supported in Slow Motion mode. Tested under 25° C (77° F) laboratory conditions, the max recording time of a single continuous video is approximately 22 minutes (approximately 18 minutes in Europe). Tested in a 25° C (77° F) laboratory environment with Wi-Fi off and screen off, and should be used for reference only.
