About this deal

I should note that by full restriction I mean around 80% of the airflow is capped off. Once again, whistling Rufus makes an unpleasant return! SMOK TFV18 Meshed Coils are compatible with SMOK TFV18 Tank which is the tank of choice for the SMOK Morph 2 Kit and the SMOK Arcfox Kit. It has a mesh design and an organic cotton core. It is designed with a large heating area and provides two options: a 0.33ohm TFV18 Meshed Coil as well as a 0.15ohm TFV18 Dual Mesh Coil. It’s certainly solidly built. I also noticed that despite their size, the coils don’t contribute that much to the overall weight. Utilising the excellent conductivity of copper, the TFV18 Mini features 5 braces on its base to efficiently transfer the power to the coil for circular and faster heating. All Electronic Cigarettes components have limited life span and will eventually need to be replaced.

The V18 Dual Mesh 0.15 Ohm which is rated between 80 to 140 Watts (140!!!) and ‘BEST AT 100-110 Watts’, again I started low and built up to 110 watts. This was more like it, the flavour came through much better and it was a warmer vape.It was just more satisfying overall.Vapour production was still very high, in fact I didn’t really notice it being any less than the 0.33 Ohm coil. It wasn’t until the emergence of sub ohm tanks in 2015 that they really began to make a name for themselves.I now discovered an issue to the airflow design. There’s a continuous whistling noise created by such a restriction that’s only solved by opening the ports to around 75-80% restriction (two thirds shut).

It’s also worth noting at this point that the Smok TFV18 is compatible with the coils of the Smok TFV16 meaning another three coil types including a triple mesh design. It ruins the whole experience from the get go and it’s also where the most air bubbles are created within the tank. There’s nothing wrong with the vapour produced and the flavour remains on par of a semi restrictive vape just maybe a little wetter after exhale. A semi restrictive setting will provide a smooth, turbulent free vape and provide what I would consider the best flavour qualities. Tips for new nicotine users: Sub-ohm or low resistance atomizers produce a higher throat hit than standard, high resistance atomizers. We strongly suggest 3 to 6mg eLiquid or lower with sub-ohm or low resistance atomizer heads. Preference may vary depending on the user and frequency of use. Smok appear to be evolving into a serious player in the vape market. The Morph 2 kit is simply a great kit for those who enjoy high wattage DL vaping and for cloud fans, the quality and performance is really good. The screen is one of Smok’s best with a precise, clear and well laid out display. The size is just right and it is not the usual fingerprint magnet of past mods. There’s absolutely no loss of flavour quality during the exhale and the brown sugar finishes the whole experience off, settling on the tip of the tongue. I would have to say that as a full, open and airy vape there’s still around 10% more restriction than found with the single mesh coil. This sub ohm tank has been designed for an airy, semi restrictive and restrictive direct lung vape. Shop the SMOK TFV18 Sub-Ohm Tank, featuring a 7.5mL capacity, utilizes native TFV18 Coils, and compatibility with the TFV16 Mesh Coil Series. Constructed from durable stainless steel, the TFV18 Tank offers a impact resistant chassis. Holding up to 7.5mL of eJuice within the bubble glass, the SMOK TFV18 Tank can be filled with your favorite eJuice. Offering fully-closeable dual slotted bottom airflow intakes, the TFV18 Sub-Ohm Tank can facilitate both MTL or DL vaping. Utilizing the native TFV18 Coils, the SMOK TFV18 Tank can also utilize the TFV16 Mesh Coils as well.
