About this deal

The quad-core processor keeps everything moving pretty swiftly, and though you'll want the fastest memory card you can afford for those bursts, you won't gain any benefits from faster UHS-II compatible cards with the camera's UHS-I slot (it's still a good investment to get the fastest UHS-I card you can, though). The X-E4 also comes loaded with Fujifilm's latest film simulations, including Eterna, which is a favorite for video recording, as well as Classic Neg. And being able to re-process Raw files in-camera to try out the different film simulations is a fun way to find what looks you like best.

As I was getting ready to write this article, I was looking around my gear cabinet for this lens and I couldn’t locate it. When I did find it, the lens was attached to my wife’s X-T4! It turns out that the Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR is her favorite lens. It seems that whenever I want to use it, the lens is attached to her camera. This is the only lens that we fight over. The Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR is my favorite lens for Fujifilm cameras. The problem is that it’s also my wife’s favorite lens, and between the two of us we only have one copy. When she’s using it, I typically go with the Fujinon 35mm f/2 instead, which is a really good lens, too, but I like the 27mm just a bit better. The other problem is that the 35mm lens, while small, is bigger than my 27mm pancake, and it doesn’t fit into my travel camera bag (I have it set up where my Fujifilm X100V and Fujifilm X-E4 with the 27mm fit really nicely into a little camera bag—the 35mm lens is just a tad too big). When TTArtisan recently announced their inexpensive 27mm f/2.8 autofocus pancake lens, I thought maybe this could be a good solution to my problem. The Fujfiilm X-S10 is also a sensible competitor to the X-E4. It's essentially the same camera under the hood, but in an SLR-shaped body with a deeper, more comfortable grip, better controls, and in-body image stabilization. All that comes with a slightly higher price tag, though. This 27/2.8 is a superb lens and I highly suggest you get one to throw in your bag with your Fuji X-mount camera.

Chromatic aberrations, typically seen as purple or blue fringes along contrasty edges, are not really a problem with the Fujifilm XF 27mm F2.8 R WR lens, as shown in the example below. Vignetting

Ease of Use

That’s where a wider angle comes in – while you’re still in front of the garbage can, the whole sceen fits nicely into the frame. The Fujifilm XF 27mm F2.8 R WR is not a macro lens, with the close-focus point at 34cm from the sensor plane and a maximum magnification of 0.1x. Bokeh If the focal length fits your style and traveling lightweight is appealing to you it would be easy to make a strong argument for the XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR. While this lens has no Optical Image Stabilization, some cameras like the X-S10 have built-in sensor-shift Image Stabilization (IS, VR (Vibration Reduction) or Steady Shot), which works really well with this lens. Shooting wide open, the XF 27mm has solid sharpness through about 80 percent of the frame. The corners and edges are slightly softer. Corners sharpen up around f4.5. While sharpness is relatively good through the image, it pales in comparison to the corner-to-corner sharpness that I’ve seen from high-priced Sony GM and Nikkor Z lenses lately. However, in real-world shooting, I thought the lens had a good balance between sharp subjects and being so sharp that you see every pore and imperfection. Lens Character
