About this deal

Curious to learn more about Żubrówka? Have a look at this in-depth Eater article. I love how they called it “the only bartender-approved “flavoured” vodka. :) A must-try! The name says it all: “luxurious”! Luksusowa is a creamy triple-distilled potato vodka, one of the oldest brands in Poland.

Chopin (vodka) - Wikipedia

I saw it the other day at the ABC store. Sounds interesting, but I wasn’t prepared to drop the cash on it. Maybe soon!Chopin 100% potato vodka is made from potatoes sourced locally in Podlasie, within 25 miles/40 km of the distillery. They get cooked whole, together with their skins. Apparently it takes 11 pounds (5 kilograms) of these starchy veggies to make each bottle! In my opinion, this is by far the smoothest vodka for martinis. My favorite to enjoy Chopin is chilled straight up with blue cheese stuffed olives and a dash of olive juice. Give it a try and let me know what you think. So, I set out to create a product that highlighted the terroir that the ingredients that made Chopin were grown in. Vodka traditionally was made from three essential ingredients - potato, rye, and wheat, but so many when we started and even now are not. Instead, they are made from a variety of items. From day one, our message was to educate the consumer that vodka can be so much more if you are willing to try something more expensive made from better ingredients.

After Three Decades, Chopin Vodka Is Still Working To Change

I broke open my second bottle and it tastes the same as the first. I had another friend try the 2nd bottle for a third opinion and he said it had a slight onion tinge to it. So either the sunlight from the store window changed the flavor over time, or it’s just the way it tastes. I read some article about storing spirits online last week (I can’t find it anymore) where some guys from the Chicago Tribune asked tips from the Beverage Tasting Institute. They mentioned sunlight could potentially change the sugar structure of spirits, altering the flavor. I’m guessing this may have happened. Okay! potato vodka is awesome we all agree on that!. So there are many options available to the initiated but I believe the math is something like this…………………………………. Chopin(Poland) > Luksosawa (Poland) ≈ Monopolowa (Austria). There’s a Colorado distillery called Woodcreek but I’m not fancy enough yet to venture into local distilleries.

As a family-owned business focused on producing high quality spirits, they share many of our values and fit really well within our portfolio of premium drinks. We’ve got great plans for the brand, which include taking full advantage of the growing popularity of the martini in the UK.”

According to the company, if you can’t get your hands on a bottle, Chopin has teamed up with Verōnika, the European restaurant inside Fotografiska New York, for NYC’s most expensive, coveted martini experience. For best results, store Chopin Vodka in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. While it doesn't require refrigeration, cool storage will preserve its nuanced flavors and smoothness for an optimal tasting experience. Are There Tours Available at the Chopin Distillery?

6. Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka

If you're looking for a delicious, vegan-friendly vodka, Chopin is a great option. Is Chopin Vodka Gluten Free? i want to thank who ever suggested the soda with choppin and a twist. i’ve been using a stirrings pomegranate and a squeeze of tangerine. Let me share with everyone, though, my most favorite thing about choppin. And that is, even though having only 2 to 3 a night, “I DO NOT GET THE SLIGHTEST HANG OVER FROM THIS STUFF. EVER” That to me, is a really important point be cause i like my early afternoon buzz and then hydrate after dinner and the next morning i feel great! I have not found this to be the case with any other vodka i’ve ever tried and i hate hangovers. Other popular brands (notice, that the alcohol content is often lowered to 32-36%, therefore technically they aren’t vodkas) : Chopin is one of the most recognisable luxury vodkas not only in Poland, but also in the world. It’s one of a few brands of Polish vodka that are still within Polish ownership. Yes indeed! Polish vodkas are the best! (Polish beers are awesome too, but that’s a topic for another day).
