About this deal

The Sentinel Power-lifter is a non-combat logistics platform and is equipped with two, large power claws that are used to grip and hold heavy objects like missiles and other heavy ordnance and transport them short distances or lift them into place on other Imperial vehicles or aircraft. Vendoland - The 85 th Vendoland made extensive use of Sentinels when it fought during the First Aurelian Crusade against an invading Tyranid splinter Hive Fleet of Hive Fleet Leviathan.

Finally, there’s an incredible new take on a classic kit – the Sentinel. These agile walker-vehicles are superb hunter-killers, and can be equipped with a variety of weaponry and wargear that enables them to deal with any foe – from blasting apart a tide of frenzied cultists to bringing down xenos monstrosities .The Armoured Sentinel has a fully enclosed, heavily-armoured canopy. The mechanical legs of an Armoured Sentinel are also modified with recoil compensators in place of additional gyro-stabilisers, marginally decreasing their speed but allowing them to fire more powerful weapon systems such as Lascannons, Plasma Cannons and Autocannons. There are several different patterns of Sentinel depending on their Astra Militarum Militarum Regimento of origin, which further specialises one of the primary operational roles outlined above depending on local circumstances, tactical needs and military cultures. OK, here is the really odd one for me. Kasrkin. Up until this point Kasrkins have just been another name for Stromtroopers, I.E. Tempustus Scions. Rules-wise they are the same. So far at least this seems to be still true, the new models have hot-shot lasguns and carapace armor. At best they might have slightly different rules. What makes this such an odd choice is that Scions are some of the newest models in the Guard army. They are a whole fresh line. Why, given a limited number of units to remake, would you put out what is essentially new models for the newest units in the army?

Do not let the novelty of elevation – nor the intoxicating new Sentinel smell – distract you from your duty to the Imperium. No shallow trench or low-built barricade can now halt your advance – simply stride into the fray while firing with abandon on the Emperor’s enemies. The first Sentinels produced had open canopies, although modifications to up-armour the vehicle also became commonplace. These Armoured Sentinels have recoil compensators in place of additional gyro-stabilizers which allow them to fire heavier weapons, as well as Auspex arrays to assist in its hunter-killer mission. The standard Sentinel's weapon load has always been a rapid firing weapon, which was originally an Assault cannon. [1] Later models however show a divergence in armament, with the Multi-laser being the most common, while other weapons include a Heavy Flamer, Autocannon, Missile Launcher, Lascannon or Plasma Cannon. [4]That’s just a taste of the reinforcements that are on the way for the Astra Militarum. This release is a little way off yet – a few more armies will have their time to shine before these kits drop into the fight. But while the Hammer of the Emperor is ponderous, it is also mighty – this mobilisation will be far more than a scouting force… Another Chapter created during this time was the Imperial Harbingers, but like their fellow Astartes of this Founding their exact progenitor Chapter remains unknown. The Marines Errant are recorded as having the Eagle Warriors Chapter as their immediate forebears. The Eagle Warriors' gene-seed was drawn from the Ultramarines' lineage, although why the Eagle Warriors in particular were singled out for the honour of a "named" Founding being drawn from their ranks remains lost to posterity. Leman Russ ( Annihilator • Conqueror • Eradicator • Executioner • Exterminator • Punisher • Vanquisher) • Siegfried • Scylla • Destroyer • Thunderer
