About this deal

All the warnings from their friends about the misery of sleep deprivation had turned out to be spot on. It is darker in places but also a good read, and it's interesting to see how children are affected in the situation of a witness protection program. From the author of These Toxic Things and Audible Original How It Ends comes a gripping short thriller about a young woman whose dreamy “glamping” weekend becomes her worst nightmare. Terrifying, unputdownable and full of twists and turns, this stunning thriller will have you on the edge of your seat right to the very last page.

Only 4 this time because even though the book was very good, it was so far off base from his usual stuff.Very up to date, as well - it mentions both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama;s campaigns, and does a good job covering the 200 elections.

The Jericho Commandment takes readers into secret society of code-named militant Jews who are working against a likewise secret society of neo-Nazis.And if its ambitions towards broad likeability weren’t already obvious enough, the film’s caked in the Wes Anderson aesthetic – obsessive symmetry, bright palettes, French New Wave-inspired camera trickery. However, thankfully the shaky start was soon forgotten, as I became immersed in the action and mystery.

Everyone at the theatre is declared a suspect and a potential victim, including the play's producer Petula Spencer and Woolf's wife Edana Romney. Not just that, the fact that Harry WENT TO WORK the next day, was just so stupidly unbelievable to me.His dangerous odyssey takes him across Europe, and finally to the Olympics, straight to one of the most shattering surprises in suspense fiction. In 1953 London, Agatha Christie's play The Mousetrap celebrates its 100th performance, and sleazy American director Leo Köpernick has been hired by producer John Woolf to direct the film adaptation. When the men leave empty handed, little do Alice and Harry realise that their nightmare is just beginning. I think George may also be aiming for a Wes Anderson-ish approach – although not so much that you’d notice, and this may just be the presence of Ronan.

This is a thriller that will have you biting your nails, munching on food, you don’t really need… to deal with the non-stop action and tension created in this amazing but believable plot. The writing constantly moved forward, albeit never on a straight road, but harsh curves left and right at top speeds. The author finally changed my mind (and let’s face it, I couldn’t stand to be the only one not reading this book) and I am so glad I caved; this one is sure to be in my top 10 for 2016 reads! Luckily I managed to finally find a copy of the book a while ago and it's been really interesting going back to the memories of this story.Starring: Sam Rockwell, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Ruth Wilson, Reece Shearsmith, Harris Dickinson, David Oyelowo. The couple don't have the package and eventually the men leave telling the young couple not to involve the police.
