It was good to see character progression, even if it did come from a slightly sad situation. Maya also has the support of her two best friends which was so good to see in this book, as I love seeing strong friendships and bonds between characters. Maya was also a really funny character, she had some really funny lines that I actually laughed out loud at. Bit awkward when you’re on the train! There were 6-ring binders with A5 paper but they were part of expensive day planner kits. (There’s also 7-hole punched paper that works with either but it’s hder to find.)

I’m a Love Island fan, I think it’s a great show and the more drama the better, however it got me thinking as I watch the couples talk about their ‘type’ and who they’d usually go for on the outside world.
