About this deal

Some people find protein bars difficult to digest – it’s best to include them gradually into your diet, and see how you get on. The major difference between these bars and Barebells protein bars is that when it comes to Barebells, I haven’t had a flavor I do not like. The peanut butter flavor itself is rather subtle, but there is a very strong saltiness to this one that makes it almost unpleasant.

Our tasters felt that while it still had a pleasant taste of vanilla and cashew nuts, and gave them a decent sugar hit, it wasn't as sweet as some others we tried. However, Fulfil bars do not yet have the wide range of flavors available in the US that they have in the UK.Although these bars have the slight chewy texture common to protein bars, it’s not unpleasant, and the chocolate chips add a pleasing contrast in texture. This bar was a firm favourite with our group of tasters, many felt it was the best one we tried all day. If Fulfil could find a way to make these protein bars softer, like Barebells, they’d be one of the best protein bars out because the flavor is awesome. If you're regularly getting enough protein from your diet, adding a supplement might not make a noticeable difference to your health.

Although allergens should be stated on the label, anyone with allergies should be cautious about using a new supplement, as there is an obvious risk of cross-contamination in factories. This is Barebells newest flavour launch, and it’s a winner in our book – a fluffy, slightly chewy bar, studded with caramel-dipped chunks of peanut, covered with a generous white chocolate coating. Overall, the combination of chocolate and hazelnut definitely gave me some Nutella vibes, which is something that’s usually missing in anything hazelnut flavored (like Nick’s ice cream).

Unlike so many other protein bars we tried, there's nothing dry, dusty or waxy here – only a touch of indulgence. White chocolate encases a layer of caramel mixed with crunchy crispies surrounding a rich peanut centre all with only 2. If it weren’t for the fact that this is supposed to taste like salted caramel, this one would be a real winner for me. Since the chopped peanuts are small, you don’t get a ton of peanut flavor or crunch like you get from something like a Snickers bar.
