If they have a second Enclosure containing at least two animals of the named type in it, they may add an additional animal to that Enclosure as well. You score objectives shown on the tiles by placing them adjacent to tiles of specific colors, but if you chain together tiles of the same color, you can score those even if just one touches the tile showing that objective. The game play is straight forward as you have only two turn options: Puzzle a new enclosure tile into your zoo area or gain new animals to populate your animal encounters. The win condition is simple and only requires you to completely fill your zoo with enclosures and attractions, the first player to do this wins. You must also place 1 to 2 animals on the enclosure tile from either another enclosure on your board (making sure not to empty the enclosure tile you take the animals from) or from a house on the side of your board. When you empty an enclosure to take an attraction you may keep one There will either be tiles and so you must place the topmost tile on your personal zoo board OR there will be two animals on the space and you then collect both of those animals (you may place animals inside enclosures if you wish – up to 2 per turn). There has been no runaway leader problem in the games I have played, with boards looking very similar at the end of the game no matter which way players have approached it.You’ve got a little holding pen area, a green room for animals, to the side as well – if you need to hold on to one of the critters you’ve just acquired. This, of course, means that you cannot add an Enclosure tile to your board if there are no animals that you can legally add to it. It plays longer given how much more real estate you’re trying to cover, and neither sequel has quite lived up to the original, but it’s still a good game to grab if you enjoy the core Azul mechanics as much as we do. However, you can also move the elephant to the next animal acquisition space without the use of a range marker.

Video games paved the way with various “theme” games, but board games are following their path and there are several available on the market. I plan to bring it to the table as often as I can, as I try to build up my overwhelming army of well-dressed Penguins and their fashionable offspring. any portion of it does not extend beyond the boundaries of the construction area on your player board. The attraction tiles and community breeding offer players enough chances to recover from being forced to take a piece that didn’t fit into their original plan. The balance in the game is well done, as each time I’ve played determining the winner has come down to the last one or two turns, making it enjoyable for both novice and advanced gamers.This can either be from the three holding enclosures on the top left of your board, or you may relocate an animal from another enclosure, so long as you don’t leave an enclosure empty. You will however have to pivot to getting these attraction tiles towards the end of the game to plug any gaps you have created. The turns in this game are very fast, simply move the elephant get animals or a tile and potentially breed.
