About this deal

So it is possible that a smaller amount would suffice but we are very happy anyway. With the really affordable prices on the VET UK (especially compared with what we were offered at the vets!) it definitely feels like we did not overpay for the peace we now have. House dust mites can contribute to allergic diseases in dogs just as much as humans, and will often trigger atopic dermatitis. Using Indorex will kill these mites and help to control them in the home for a full 12 months. However, faeces and body fragments of dust mites can also be potent allergens, so regular vacuuming is also essential. The active ingredients in Indorex are toxic to many pests, but also some pets including cats, birds, reptiles, spiders and fish. For this reason, all animals should be kept well away during the treatment.

Fleas are unpleasant for pets and humans and can, unfortunately, have a relatively long life cycle. Therefore, finding a product that really works is vital. Once you’ve treated your home you will need to vacuum frequently for a few weeks and make sure you empty the vacuum immediately, away from the house. The pyrethroid also has shown a toxic effect on rats and other small animals, so do the same with these. Lastly, it is highly toxic to aquatic mammals, so remove fish tanks before using flea sprays. A 10 second burst treats 1 square metre of surface. The 500ml can will be sufficient to treat a typical family home. Several people have called this spray the best around, and we also found the Virbac Indorex spray to not only be one of the easiest to use, but also one of the best at actually eradicating the full problem. In our experience, the smell wasn’t overpowering and soon disappeared. It also worked to stop the problem within a few days.

Indorex Flea Spray

One bottle covers an average four-bedroom house, spraying all affected surfaces for around 13 seconds for the most effective solution. Just spray, leave the room for around half an hour and then ventilate. Ensure all pets are out of the room as it is strong. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. You may also find that you are being bitten and are at your wit’s end. This can happen especially if your pet is near the sofa or sleeps near your bed. So to fully remove fleas in your home, you need to be armed with a vacuum cleaner and some of the products below. A form of fogger, flea bombs are often more on the professional scale versus spray foggers – for those who really have tried everything else. A type of fogger, that you use as a candle as opposed to spraying. This releases smoke, which may be better for some people who can’t have liquid particles around or are worried about staining from liquids. Electronic Devices

can protect the room for seven months after application, ensuring no eggs or larvae develop into adult fleas and that pupae will die once hatched. It contains an insect growth regulator (IGR), a substance that stops the life cycle of an insect. Fleas spend very little time on your pets. The rest of the time is spent hopping and crawling on surfaces such as your carpet and pet beds. So prior to using flea spray in the house, make sure you wash all pet bedding at 60 degrees Celsius or more. It is good when used alongside sprays beforehand, which can offer more targetted results on areas where your pet may favour such as the sofa or around their bed. Also bear in mind that they will set off any smoke alarms so disable these first. Place on a fire-safe surface. The sprays are most effective when newly applied so getting the fleas to hatch out in this period gives you the best chance of killing off the infestation. This period is called the “Pupal Window”. The Pupal Window As mentioned before you need to vacuum regularly, starting 24 hours after spraying then at least twice a week (daily is better) for the next few weeks to both clear the flea debris and encourage them to hatch.

To proceed, the spray is safe for use at any part of your home. You can sprinkle it over your carpets and furniture without the risk of greasy stains or even sanitize your pets' bowls. The only unpleasant thing is that this solution has a pretty strong smell. That’s why it is recommended to thoroughly air your living area after the application. Treat your pet effectively using a cat flea treatment or dog flea treatment, wash soft furnishings on a very high heat and regularly vacuum and steam carpets and surfaces which you cannot wash. Indorex spray can be applied to all domestic surfaces, such as carpets, floors, curtains, rugs, and blankets and beds. How long does it take for Indorex to kill fleas?

Flea eggs, for instance, laid by adult female fleas, roll off pets' coats into any crevices (including carpets, rugs, pet bedding, skirting boards and floorboards). The hatching larvae burrow deep down to protect themselves in these crevices and soft furnishings where they turn into pupae. They can stay in this state for as long as a year but, eventually, they will develop into adult fleas, leap onto your pet as it passes and the life-cycle starts again. If you are worried about these issues, opt for a treatment that doesn’t contain the ingredient, but when used safely and following strict guidelines, it shouldn’t have a negative effect on animals. Always air a room fully after application. Natural vs Synthetic flea treatments – which is best?Vacuuming is vital as no insecticide can kill off fleas at the pupae stage (you must wait until they hatch), so hoovering regularly over the course of seven days should get all last traces remaining. You may also wish to reapply repellents after this time.

As for the products to kill those fleas, there are several treatment options on the market. Each of them will have slightly different ways of working so make sure you read and follow the instructions. Can Flea Sprays Kill Cats? Remove all pets but ensure pet bedding is treated as this is a primary hiding place for pre-adult fleas. Indorex Spray is approved by the Health and Safety Executive for the control of House Dust Mites. These are the main allergens involved in atopic dermatitis in dogs and are often implicated in asthma in humans. Just one appication will provide control of House Dust Mites for 12 months, but as dead mites are just as allergenic as live ones, it is essential that a high power, high filtration vacuum cleaner is used regularly to remove the dead mites. To determine which flea spray works best for your infestation, there are several elements that you should take into consideration. Below, we explain some of the most important factors to keeping flea control in your home. Ingredients If your pet has fleas, you'll notice them scratching and biting at themselves more than usual and you might see small red bumps under their fur. Since fleas will also bite humans who are in close range of them, the first sign of their presence you see might evenbe on your own skin. One can will treat an area of 35m², for example, a 7m by 5m room. For most effective results you need to treat the whole house and you will need one can for each room you treat. How to Use Johnson’s 4Fleas Fogger We would also suggest that you add a spray of pesticide or an old flea collar to the bag or canister of your vacuum and clean away. Make sure you get under beds, sofas, and chairs and use attachments to get into the corners and crevices. Make sure you empty the vacuum outside away from your home and put a fresh flea collar in your vacuum. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. It is very toxic to cats, who cannot tolerate the therapeutic doses made for dogs. It remains much longer in cat organs compared to dogs and can be fatal in larger doses, so if you have cats, increase the recommended wait times before you allow them into the room. Even if you use spot-on treatments, tablets and any other help you can get from the vets, fleas will be laying eggs in your home ready to continue plaguing your pet.
