Martindale VT12 Two-Pole Voltage & Continuity Tester Overview

This robust tester has automatic AC/DC detection up to 690V and continuity testing with optical and acoustic indication up to 200k Ohms, with polarity indication. Supplied as standard with GS38 compliant caps, the VT12 uses bright LED indicators to show the level of detected voltage in accordance with all of the latest safety standards. The tester is also especially rugged, making it suitable for both industrial and commercial use.

An extremely useful device, the featured Martindale PD440S proving unit provides operators with a way to prove their two-pole voltage tester performance and in line with safe isolation procedure. By supplying a constant 440V 50Hz voltage level, the only input required of the user is to introduce the poles to the corresponding probe terminals on the proving unit. The output will last for up to 10 seconds or less if the probe tips are removed beforehand. The Martindale VT12 Voltage Indicator is a two-pole voltage detector capable of sensing AC/DC voltage from 12V to 690V. It has a handy LED bar-graph display which shows nominal voltage level at 12V, 24V, 50V, 120V, 230V and 690V. All the user needs to do is insert the poles into the voltage source and the tester will automatically indicate any potential.
