I was fortunate enough to acquire the original Fellowship of the Rings – Complete Recordings when it was first issued and I wondered if it was worth the additional outlay second time round (my original box is getting a bit battered through over-use). You get a large booklet with lots of information about the music to the film which is a really good read for any fan. and Stereo mixes of the entire score, a reactivation of the 2005 box set featuring the entire score from the extended versions of the film.
