Safety - this is fairly safe, in my opinion. The h wants H to kiss her in prologue but he shuts her down since she’s underage. 2 years later she walks in on her boyfriend banging another woman. It wasn’t serious between her and the boyfriend and she’s pissed but not hurt. She’s “done stuff” with the boyfriend but obviously still a virgin at that point.

Age gap H36/h18 (I got to be honest, the cover is a let down though! No way a 36yo would look like the guy in the cover. He seems more like in highschool or college to me 😭😂) The godawful cover! The guy on the cover looks like like an emo kid in HS, but he’s supposed to be a rugged 36 year old. One of my biggest pet peeves is when there’s a person on the cover but they don’t match the description of the characters. Fallon has had her heart set on Cole, her father’s best friend, since she was about 16 years old. The day she turned 18, he showed her that she was his despite an arranged marriage that was to take place between Fallon and Anton. Anton is a snake in the grass and part of a gang the Savage Six are trying to negotiate with.

Cause Cole keeps saying that boy(Anton) is out of their league so why bother to pretend pawn your daughter why just not end that lil shit earlier if that was easy for you. Fallon has always been in love with her dad's best friend, Cole. On her 16th birthday she asked him to give her her first kiss but he said no. Two years later, Fallon is abruptly engaged in an arranged marriage to Cole's enemy. As soon as she turns 18, Cole goes after her with everything he has. This was a kinky, romantic, suspenseful book! Cole is sooo jealous/possessive over Fallon. She is his perfect counterpart. Regardless of their large age gap, they were made for each other. The ending felt rushed and didn’t make a lot of sense. Again, maybe it will make more sense as the series continues, but as it was I felt like there was still a lot left to be said.

Past the prologue most of this book reads like a jealous/possessive readers fever dream. Cole is OTT possessive and I reveled in how delicious it was throughout. But we have bigger problems as a new rival threatens the Savage Society’s and Coles’ position in it. War is coming and my killer friend is learning what “till death do us part” really means… The parts of this novel were predictable, yet well written and captivating. My only wish was that some of the “hunting/rescuing agony” would have been more visible and longer.I’ll admit a lot of this is corny. Small town billionaires in a secret society that runs like a criminal organization. Members of the Savage Six are described repeatedly to be the most badass, unstoppable, powerful men to ever grace the earth. It’s a bit much and it definitely takes itself very seriously however if you don’t take it too seriously and you like Hs like Cole you’ll enjoy this too. Les Secretions Romantiques - Megaturbocore (pot d'echappement edit) - Beautiful Carnage comp n°1 (2008) BTW... this book is kinda ended up in cliffhanger so I mean the real main villain/maybe we called it mastermind is still out there, well I get it since this will be a series. The story does more to generate interest in the rest of the characters and desperately makes me explore their own stories right away. I think I see where Tristan will end up if I read that scene correctly of course. The age gap/dad’s best friend part here isn’t really much of a big deal. Her dad wasn’t super excited but he accepted the situation pretty easily.
