The board itself is kind of ugly but despite the color patterns it seems high quality with the exception of the fat red screws (which they call pins;). According to the directions, you may have to adjust and readjust everything a few times as you assemble all the parts onto your stroller. Those red screws are not the best quality. I don't think the threads will strip but the plastic definitely seems too soft and that soft plastic moves and flattens in some sections as you readjust them to fit the parts perfectly. The Lascal buggyboard maxi comes with good-quality wheels (not cheap plastic) and offers a good ride, the suspension is also good. It provides a smooth and safe ride for children while allowing full manoeuvrability for the caregiver.While the Maxi is essentially a moulded bit of plastic with plastic accessories to match, the build quality is exceptional. Combined with the innovative Max-Comfort suspension system, your child won’t be bouncing around but will enjoy a smooth ride. The board is high enough so that when you are walking your feet will go underneath the board. The board swivels to follow the stroller and it will go up and down over curves. The product itself is very well made, seems very sturdy. It's easy to push on a flat surface, but struggles a little on uneven ground or stony pathways. Be warned you cannot reverse with your toddler on it - at least we couldn't. He has to get off, or we have to turn around moving forwards. What really stands out is the adapters which allow you to make the arms longer if needed. So you don’t need to worry about the board restricting the wheels of your pram.
