About this deal

I am already tired of writing how awful Dior became. When first saw the notes of the New-new-NeW-nEw Miss Dior 2021 I was like: Bravo you little brainiacs. You made an edition that has some of the strong notes of the previous Miss Dior 2017 plus what it still sells from them. Yes, that's Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet EDT, the smell that almost all Miss Dior line for body care has. Franchois said: I added some fruitiness from apricot & peach. Tragic is a kind word I can use here. I really like to use it too. I think it's very age appropriate for my age (I'm 17). It's not a heavy (and excuse me for this term, I'm just being honest) grandma smell. It's fresh (?), fruity, and sweet. You smell like a field of flowers straight out of a movie. It's truly great, amazing, perfect.

I like it a lot and it makes me feel happy and beautiful and that's why I wear my fragrances, I personally don't really care if it's "generic" or reformulated 1000 times, I just want wear fragrances that make me feel good and calm and feel myself while wearing them. I really think that the people who claim poor performance are just anosmic after smelling it for a short period of time, similar to how some people cannot perceive the musk note in some Narciso Rodriguez fragrances. The new fragrance Miss Dior is based on the note of Centifolia rose, with its honey and peppery notes, which reigns over the extremely creamy velvety heart. It is embroidered with fresh lily of the valley, peony and powdery notes of iris. The base has woody, earthy and vanilla aromas. The new fragrance is like an olfactory "millefiori" that seems to carry countless flowers in endless colours. Those warmer base notes start to show through within fifteen minutes, as the rosiness and fruits recede.

I am going to be as objective as possible because I know that this perfume, due to the weight of the name it carries, has brought a lot of controversy, it is well known that the Miss Dior created by Dior for his sister is a jewel, but currently that perfume would not be to the liking of the most potential clients because it is very bitter and vintage (even for me) in the years that defined my tastes for perfumery, a jewel was born from the hands of Christine Naguel called Miss Dior Cherie which is to this day my favorite and my great love of the Miss Dior line, when Demachy entered as Dior's absolute creative nose, he unified and reformulated both fragrances, creating Miss Dior eau de parfum (2011) and the classic Miss Dior L'original. Although the 2012 formula had changed, it was reminiscent of Miss Dior Cherie but seemed more like a flanker of Coco Mademoiselle (the only feminine fragrance that I like from Chanel) although in my case I prefer Dior. After an eau de Toilette in 2013 that was in accordance with the edp which was logically fresher thanks to the blood orange, even so very similar, the line followed this course (although with different formulas) until 2017 where Demachy realized to the task of changing the fragrance, slightly recalling its 2012 version, but with a predominant note of rosewood (reminiscent of that Dior jewel that is Dune) and high doses of vanilla with patchouli. The latter marked a new generation that was beginning in the world of fragrances (as in the case of mine with Cheríe and her subsequent 2012 edp) and they could enjoy it until 2021.

I got it a month ago as a gift and was very carful using it, considering the price. You really don't need much. It smells so good and holds on for so long. Especially when you get it in your hair. I started spraying a little bit of this perfume into my hair (I don't spray it directly into my hair, I just keep my hair in front when I spray it. This way it still gets into my hair and I don't have to spray more than needed.) and it literally doesn't get out unless I wash it. I'm really stunned by this piece of perfection. I've decided to make an effort to use up and review my perfume samples, starting with 2021 Miss Dior. I'll say this; this isn't a linear scent. Rollerballs? Jesus, I just forgot. Take as an example Chanel. How similar was Miss Dior EDT to the all time classic Coco Mademoiselle EDP? 90% at least, some times I could even confuse them but Miss Dior EDT was warmer and sweeter while CM-EDP was and is colder and fresher. Chanel never reformulated or enough their masterpieces to a point that can make their crowd angry. They still bring new editions of such a masterpiece that I took as an example, see after EDP: EDT, extrait de parfum, pure parfum, Intense, L'eau...without discontinue the original. The magic of a chypre perfume that everyone can love at least in some point of their lives is classic. If you loved the 2017 version you will probably be dissapointed because it's soft and doesnt smell like the old version but if you can't stand patchouli at all like me maybe you should give this new version a try.Iris, vanilla, sandal wood and tonka bean. What can I say, this is in the middle of sexy and elegant. Always get compliments. Everyone wanna know what I wear. Heads turn around and smile. People at the restaurants tryna get closer to me. It’s okay scent, kinda generic, always similar to something else. But miss Dior has its own personality that other perfume can’t give. Opulence, adorable and luminous. Warm, friendly and sweet.
