About this deal
Muchos disappeared from supermarkets last month, having been touted as the “biggest-ever” launch from McCoy’s in 2019. McCoy’s has taken another stab at Mexican-inspired flavours, adding the two-strong Epic Eats range of crisps.
The ridged crisps offered “unique and tempting flavours” and had been designed to “bolster growth of the McCoy’s brand, while strengthening its flavour credentials”, said the brand. They were “perfectly positioned to attract younger shoppers”, who were “influenced by flavours when making purchasing decisions”.

The crisps giant confirmed the activity was linked to an upcoming launch, but declined to comment further. The brand said the launch taps into the growing popularity of Mexican food, with Mexican being the fourth largest takeaway cuisine in the UK and a 71% growth in Mexican restaurants in 2017.
