About this deal

The EM3ev Jumbo Shark case is designed for 70 cells, including cell holder and BMS. We design and manufacture the CNC cell holder, so it is a snug fit inside the case. https://myelectricbikemotor com/electric-mountain-ebike-e-nzo-diamond-36v-250w-motor-full-suspension-e-bike/ On/Off Button: Enhance your battery’s efficiency with the on/off button, which allows you to save power when it’s not needed, extending your ride even further. https://myelectricbikemotor com/orange-dh-electric-downhill-mountain-bike-new-bafang-bbshd-1600w-motor-58v-12ah/

USB Port: Stay connected and powered up during your rides with the built-in USB port. Now you can conveniently charge your cell phone or other devices while on the go.

The Shark style case is a popular choice, due to it’s small size, for it’s relatively high capacity. It’s long, but sleek profile, means it can fit into most frames and it looks pretty good. However, it was not all good. The Hailong case that was used for most of the Shark batteries that are in circulation, suffered from several issues. The issues on the Hailong case included: The EM3ev Jumbo Shark case is built and designed for 70 cells (the case itself is bought in from our preferred case maker). We were not willing to sacrifice safety and reliability by squeezing 70 cells into the Hailong case, that was only ever intended for a max of 65 cells, which is why we waited until a suitable case was available, before we offered our 52V EM3ev Jumbo Shark. The only way it was possible for others to offer a 52V battery in the Hailong case, was to discard the standard cell holders and glue the cells together. Correct disposal of damaged, used and redundant battery ---- Do not touch heavily damaged batteries with your bare hands, since electrolyte may leak and cause skin irritation. Damaged batteries are best stored in a safe place outdoors with the connection port taped over. hopefully this info is helpful to someone. I was bored this morning, so y’all get to read my long winded post.

I subsequently replaced the 15amp BPM with a 30amp BPM that prevented this issue from occurring, as the OEM batteries from Cyrusher come with a 30amp BMS. However even doing so I never got more than 20 miles out of a rated “20ah” Hailong That i bought on Alibaba regardless of the PAS settings but the 17ah from Cyrusher gets 48 miles using the same PAS settings and all things being equal (i.e. same path to work, same stop and go, same speed, same PAS, etc.) Don't charge, use and store battery near a heat source such as fire and heater! If the battery leaks or releases strange odor, pls remove it from place near fire place immediately. Fully charge the battery before first-time using. Hailong battery case has the following models: Hailong I, Hailong I-2, Hailong 2, Hailong plus, Hailong Pro, Hailong G56, Hailong G70 and Hailong G80. All these models with similar design, but different sizes for installing different number of battery cells - 18650 and 21700. Currently only the Hailong G80 available for 21700 cells - maximum 52pcs for 10S5P or 13S4P. On the Bikonit HD750 I can hit a max speed of 32mph (peddling) on flat land and get a range of 51 miles in PAS 5 and 78 in PAS 3 on the dual 15ah batteries

Please note we recommend a max of no more than 50A for the BMS. The trip current is set just above 60A.

So... Sadly I am pretty sure I know why you aren't getting the range you were promised. You got taken from the sound of it. Sorry for the bad news :-( Of course, if you go really fast or are pulling an extra load, then this mileage will be worse, like 12-15 wh/km. On the other hand, if you use the motor more sparingly, then you can easily stretch it down to 6-8 wh/km. The table below summarizes the expected range for these different example batteries under light, average, and heavy usage paradigms: Mounting base ---- The Hailong I-2 mounting base with space for a 9G 11-22A 500-1000W built-in controller. The output connectors could be waterproof or non-waterproof. DMEGC do seem to have a pretty big, swanky factory, they claim making 80,000 x 18650 cells a day (among many other cell types). If Fiido alone are selling (a claimed) 400,000 e-bikes a year, taking typically 40 cells per bike, that's 16 million cells a year - which is 2/3 of DMEGC's stated lithium cell capacity. That may be why other makers don't get much of a look-in and why people like Mooch haven't come across them?Read this manual before you are going to use the Hailong battery, and keep it for reference. This manual contains important safety, performance and battery functions. The battery we choose as example is model Hailong I-1, some customer name it Hailong III. And a final point is that a larger battery has a lower per cell stress during discharge since the current is shared among more parallel cells. Cells that are cycled at high discharge currents (>1-2C) exhibit noticeably lower cycle life than those cycled at low currents Parallel Connecting Batteries I weigh 220lbs and all of these bikes have upgraded gearing (53T crank and 11 speed mag) except the Bikonit, it still has the OEM 42T crank.
