The heating bed gets hot in just under 30 seconds. The well-insulated printing surface is heated to 60 degrees thanks to the 220V power supply. According to the manufacturer, the printbed can get to 110°C in 130 seconds. Thanks to the insulation attached below, the temperature, according to Octoprint, is also kept relatively constant.

Lead screws are kept in sync by the belt in the top, which is nice to see. On my Creality CR 10S PRO, the main issue i had was with bed leveling. Because of the weight of the X assembly, the lead screws would get out of sync causing fist layer issues. A synchronized, dual Z-axis, double lead screw and a closed synchronous belt ensure good performance. The exclusive Z-axis coupler avoids layer problems and gives the print a certain sophistication and better quality.Octoprint installed on a Raspberry Pi (Preferably a Pi 3B or higher but any Linux PC will also work) For me, the primary advantage of converting a budget machine like the Artillery Genius to use linear rails is for ease of maintenance: unlike the POM roller wheels and eccentric nuts, linear rails don’t need to be carefully adjusted to fit *juuust* right; and, if kept properly lubricated, they will not wear out or need to be replaced. You *may* also see improvements in print quality—particularly if your existing rollers are a little worse for wear—but a properly-tuned roller wheel setup will produce results every bit as good. It just won’t stay that way without a little bit of TLC. If you’d rather spend your time, say, working on other projects rather than nurturing your rollers, linear rails might be for you! The inductive end stops should be more precise than their mechanical counterparts. However, so far I have not noticed this either positively or negatively. Ultimately, the advantage would only really come into play with the Z-axis. Unfortunately, the end stops are fixed to the aluminum profiles, so that subsequent adjustment requires additional effort.

Due to popular request, the Sidewinder X1 Firmware containing the BLTouch settings is currently available. Enter the Settings tab again and under “ Serial Connection” change the “ Serial Port” setting to “ /tmp/printer”. The Artillery Sidewinder has a very large build space of 300 x 300 x 400 mm. This also gives you enough space for larger projects. At this moment there was already Klipper v0.10.0 and Mainsail v2.1.0, buz no problem, with MainsailOS it's super easy to update all components.When it comes to print quality, the SWX1 simply delivers. Out of the box, it prints good models. You can tweak the settings to have even better results.

Artillery is dedicated to developing intelligent, high-efficiency FDM 3D printers. In January 2019, their debut FDM 3D printer, the Artillery Sidewinder X1 entered the market. With protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, excessive temperature, short circuit and other safety risks, the Sidewinder X2 is a trustworthy partner.The Elegoo Mars or Anycubic Photon S also print well, even bringing out the layers that can only be seen under a microscope.
