I can't speak to the SRAM piece of the equation, but I can't imagine it's *that* different from Shimano. Roads, bridleways, canal paths, deep muddy puddles – all these conditions and more were thrown at them, along with some aggressive riding, and the R1s haven't put a foot wrong yet. It was very helpful that the package came with a set of rotors, so this is a way to save some money if that's what you're into. Unfortunately I’m in no position to answer if they are better than Trp Hy/Rd stopping wise and I’m fairly sure a full hydro system would be much much better but overall I’m happy with them.The F1 is the latest addition to the Juin Tech stable, sold as a set including mounting bolts, adaptors and rotors.
