About this deal

This story has two timelines, unlike other story with duel timelines, these two could be two independent books on their own. There’s an come clues, but they just read like facts, I didn’t mind reading them, but I wasn’t eager to find them out either. The one set in 1940s is more interesting and Elizabeth is a likeable character, I didn’t mind reading her story, i actually quite enjoyed it ;) A triumph. Coming to Find You was a compelling read with a dark and twisty plot." —Jane Shemilt, author of Little Friends After Nancy’s stepbrother murders her mother and his father, Nancy flees to Tall Chimneys, an old boarding house on the Devon coast that belonged to her grandmother. Jane never ceases to surprise me with the stories she comes up with and Coming to Find You is no exception. I love the way Jane combines the heart-warming with the thrilling; I think it's her superpower! She has such empathy for her characters." —Emma Curtis, author of Invite Me In A thrilling domestic noir with a great sense of time and place, excellent characterisation and plenty of surprising twists." - Catherine Cooper

The characters in the book were depicted incredibly well. Both female protagonists were strong, and I enjoyed following their stories. I like that they both do actions which we would categorically call good, as well as some which we would condone, they are not clear cut which makes them more intriguing.

Elizabeth, on the other hand, immediately came across as a warm and loving character. Even with a decidedly unlikable husband in the neighbourhood, she is merely trying to make the best of a horrible time in her life. That means taking in guests, even evacuees like Maisie and Shirley. But danger lurks along this part of the Essex coast. Can Elizabeth keep everyone safe until the end of the war? I would have quite happily read an entire novel about Elizabeth and her guests. There were a few characters I would have loved to have got to know better, and that includes a character called Adeline, who also happens to tie in nicely to the present. Now someone knows the truth about the night Nancy's mother and stepfather were murdered. Someone knows where to find her. And they have nothing to lose . . ." The detail is excellent – whether it’s court procedure or dentistry –and makes for a convincing finale. But the real beauty of the story is that it rescues the mother-in-law from the stereotypical role of pantomime villain and depicts a complex woman with a secret past and empathy for her imperfect daughter-in-law.” Daily Mail

The story is one of tragedy and heartbreak as well as suffering. There are some subjects that the author tentatively mentions but doesn't go into great detail with. As she has with her previous books, she has made them part of the story and is the crux of the beginnings of some of the rot that is the story. Then someone sends her a letter. They know the truth about the night Nancy's mother and stepfather were murdered. They know she's been lying. And they promise to come find her. Because they have nothing to lose.

A fantastic and powerful novel of heart-pounding suspense, expertly written to draw the reader in and never let go!” Kathryn Croft, author of THE GIRL YOU LOST Jane Corry’s psychological thrillers have sold more than a million copies so far and this is the most gripping yet.” Sunday Express Jane Corry portrays the best and worst in people with a warmth and acumen that draws the reader into their experience and makes it wholly believable.” Karen Byron My Weekly You won’t know who to trust in this twisty, absorbing and intricately-plotted family thriller.” —T.M. Logan, author of The Holiday on The Lies We Tell A triumph. Coming to Find You was a compelling read with a dark and twisty plot.” —Jane Shemilt, author of Little Friends

Advance Praise

I MADE A MISTAKEis an absorbing and gripping masterpiece, skilfully plotted with superbly drawn characters who will stay with you long after you’ve finished reading.” Kathryn Croft The historical fiction section of this story was wonderful, it showed what life was like at home for those left behind, missing loved ones who had gone to fight and hearing news of deaths from bombings and the trauma that this leaves. I am not sure which section I loved the most as the historical setting was as compelling as the present-day setting. The same amount of danger and dread but with a series of different events. Coming to Find You‘ features a dual timeline. In the present day scenario, we meet Nancy in the aftermath of a murder trial. To escape the scrutiny from the media, Nancy decides to hide away at her grandmother’s house in a quiet seaside village. This house has seen some things during its existence. Which is also where the past timeline comes in as we are introduced to Elizabeth, who owns the house and runs it as a boarding house during the Second World War. Using some historical facts the author has woven a tale of three generations that have lived in the house. When its current owner is forced to relocate there to avoid the press that had hounded her in her London home. She doesn't expect to discover more secrets. She certainly doesn't expect her life to turn out the way it does. Jane Corry never fails to disappoint. Coming to Find You is yet another twisty, exciting book that I couldn't put down." - Heidi Perks
