There a loads of full colour pictures inside and many useful techniques from a great make-up artist. Kevyn Aucoin's story of growing up, the stories of his siblings, and their role in the development of his talent is compelling and inspiring.Beautiful coffee table book, easy to follow instructional manual with products and makeup tools listed to recreate looks featured. Still, I feel some concepts were a little dated such as using the exoticness of Asian women as a makeup look and picking a white model to illustrate this beauty. It's a far cry from anything he could do before he passed away, but I felt like sharing for the sake of the review.
