Like in a chapter I’m enjoying their relationship and all of that and in the second chapter they’re together and I’m bored. Same with the 2nd book, it was kind of fast, I feel like people say its a slow-burn cuz its like over a couple of years but I wish instead of all the time jumps, we could see more of the anticipation, the angst and the tension building I feel like that would've made it much better.And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can’t refuse. Now, Alex uncovers a series of letters that implicate his uncle Ivan Volkov in the murders, not Michael.

i really loved the characters in these books, but they do follow a similar theme in each one, despite the plots being different. But although I knew it was a big part of Twisted Love, I couldn’t resist the rest of what it was offering.I get it he fucked up majorly the second worst fuck up in the series, but he had a reason for it, even tho it was way too harsh and he could’ve handled it better he had a somewhat right to be mad. Stoic, broody and arrogant bodyguard Rhys Larsen has two rules: protect his clients at all costs and do not become emotionally involved. But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there’s more than meets the eye to the man she’s hated for so long.

These are my opinions on the books, and of course, people may not agree with me, but this is how I personally felt with each book. Alex is very possessive alpha male vibes thoooo so if you like that you'll love this book and if that's not your thing then this one probably isn't for you. Vicious ended up appearing back in Emilia's life while there was a winter storm, while Alex ended up staying outside as it was raining when he walked with Ava to her place.

That said, while I wouldn’t necessarily say that I was disappointed or let down by the execution in this book (because, as I previously mentioned, I enjoyed many aspects of it), I will still say that I think many things needed rework and further editing. Anyways I hate max, sorry just had to be said, the whole drama with Magda was confusing but obviously got explained in twisted lies, but max deserved to die pretty sure Christian killed him maybe, but for everything he did to Jules he deserved it.

My favorite line is Ava “I’m gonna need Alex to rethink his pda rule” we all are if Stella and Christian didn’t bang it out soon. I especially love how one text from Josh and Alex is like here’s your guy beat him up, be my guest, true friend right there.Ava and Alex, Bridget and Rhys, Jules and Josh, then Stella and Christian—these characters are made with heart, and I just love each of them. These are similarities anyone who's read Vicious can note, and it can be either a good thing or an annoying thing.
