Using the Thetford 335 is simple to operate. Everything is covered in the video located in the Overview TAB above.With compact dimensions like the 145 but equipped with a level indicator to warn you well in advance when the waste-holding tank needs emptying. The manually operated piston pump provides easy and powerful flushing. The good news is, like all Thetford Toilets it is fitted with a clean system for emptying that includes an air release button for a smooth flow. Flush Water Tank - a mixture of water and flush-water fluid such as Aqua Rinse Plus is poured directly into the flush-water top tank. This mixture is designed to clean the bowl and helps prolong the life of the seals after each use. There are 3 types of flushing mechanism; piston and bellows, both a kind of manual pump that require minimum effort, and a push button electric flush. Electric flush of course offers the most convenience (sorry couldn't resist) but in truth it really offers most benefit where physical limitations make it necessary due to illness, injury or disability. Electric flush carries a higher cost which for the average user is difficult to justify, given the ease of use and effectiveness of piston and bellows pumps.
