About this deal

So if that’s you, here are some tips for making English lessons on Zoom better than ever. #1 Record Your English Lessons Overall, clunky in places but has some solid highs that it make it fun. It's about as good as Pet Shop, has a few more clunky bits but less threats of animal abuse at least. (As far as the Creature Teacher trilogy goes, a tad lesser than the Spooksville one but arguably a bit more creative since that one reuses elements from previous books in that series, making it a lesser one for that series imo but still good and that series stronger elements make it a bit better than this one in general)

Use your power for good and create an environment where you can get maximum value from your lesson.

So unless you need to speak English on the phone for work and want to practice that, make it easier on yourself and keep your camera on. A cute poster to display your Star Student of the day in your classroom. It can be printed in a variety of sizes and laminated. I used spend every Tuesday and Thursday at a company in Prague giving English lessons to their employees. As this is an individual reward chart, possibly speak to individual children about their goals or behaviours that they are working towards.

Brighten up your children’s desks with these colourful and educational name tags. The desk name tag has the alphabet, numbers 0-20, shapes, colours, hands demonstrating left and right and a place to write their name. This can be printed in A4 or A3 depending on the size of your desks and then laminated to be longer lasting. Both the lanyards and wristbands can be placed in the classroom where they can be seen by the children, as they will be reminded of what they can earn themselves. This simple peg chart is a visual reminder in the classroom to encourage those positive behaviours. With each child responsible for their own named peg, this tool will encourage children to follow the classroom guidelines. Expectations of each child to follow these aspects will differ according to their development and age. The aim is to have Teacher’s Pet Creature in one piece by the end of the day. (Rewards can be given out if this occurs).

#2 Use The Chat Box To Fix Your Mistakes

If you want correction, and don’t want the conversation to be interrupted, it’s much better to get it in writing. Aaron graduated from the Ringling College of Art & Design in 1989 from the Illustration program. He was then hired by Walt Disney Feature Animation where he spent 21 years helping to create some of the greatest animated films ever made. During that time he worked as an animator or supervising animator on “The Rescuers Down Under”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, “The Lion King”, “Pocahontas” and “Mulan”. In 2003 he was co-director of “Brother Bear” for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film. Place this poster on a wall in your classroom to remind the children of the positive language that you want to see in your room. During lunch, Paul makes friends with a pudgy kid named Marv. He explains that this is Mrs. Maaargh's first year at the school. Celeste comes over, pulls Paul away, and reveals that Marv is Mrs. Maaargh's son. Worried that Marv will tell her about some bad things he said about her, he goes over to apologize to her. He sees Mrs. Maaargh biting a mouse's head off, and this makes him realize she really is a monster. He tries to call his parents, but the phones don't work.

Encourage your children to “think” about their behaviour when trying to support positive behaviours in your classroom. This poster acts as a visual reminder and encourages positive language to be used. It is important that children learn to think before they speak.

One of the biggest challenges any educator faces is classroom behaviour management. Your Teacher’s Pet Creature was designed specifically to make that challenge easier, so you can spend more time doing the parts of the job that you love. Job Chart – one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, twelve, fourteen and sixteen job layouts included. Of course, there's also a local tale about the school, and how it had this one eccentric science teacher who liked experimenting with chemicals. One day after class, when he was working with his chemicals, they erupted in his face, which people say turned him into a monster known as "the teacher creature" who still skulks the hallways of the old building to this day.

He talks to Molly, Celeste and Brad, who says they have tried to escape a dozen times and have failed. They have tried telling the other staff at the school, but no one believes them. He runs to visit the headmistress but discovers that it is Mrs. Maaargh herself. She came here to be the new headmistress but she loved to be near the students, so she took on both jobs. She warns him to do better, but she doubts he will. There's some wonky logic things, which is to be expected although some kinda stretch it lol. Ending was pretty abrupt although the solution was something else. Much like Pet Shop of Horrors, this had dark parts, there's a running thing where the monster teacher is seen with blood in his mouth, at one point he full on eats a racoon carcass, and it is stated that he ate the previous teacher, again using that blood in mouth as a tell. Damn. Once I was speaking with a friend online when we decided to turn our cameras off because the internet speed was too slow. Once all 100 hearts have been coloured in, explain they will receive a whole-class reward. Obviously some trust is involved here and discussing being honest can be helpful. Can't compare it to the Goosebumps one yet, although I have read The Final Exam. Still, I'll judge it on its own here and I ended up liking it. It did throw me off in a few ways though. It starts with protagonist Joey Powers and his friend Nate being goof off jerks towards their teacher which wasn't a good start for them.

#5 Turn Off Everything

Every child will want to earn one of these brag tags from Your Teacher’s Pet Creature. They can be created as lanyards or as wristbands. These can also be either made to take home or kept and worn in the classroom only - it is up to you. Support your children’s writing skills with this simple activity sheet. The variations included are: WALT, WILF, TIB, WAGOLL and a blank version. There are enough lines for your children to write a paragraph on their topic. The book's manuscript appears on Stine's bookshelf in the Goosebumps film. Additionally, Mrs. Maaargh is mentioned in Slappy's Revenge. A few days later, Paul gets a note from Mrs. Maaargh telling him to come to the auditorium for the talent show. He does but it is mostly empty, with Molly revealing the show has been cancelled. She leaves and Mrs. Maaargh enters, dragging him down a trapdoor to eat him. She takes him to a furnace room, planning to throw him in as she doesn't eat food raw. He manages to escape and bumps into Molly.
