About this deal

I wanted something that could convert to a double when I needed it to, rather than have both seats all the time. It’s great for all-terrain and has been on many muddy forest walks. The basket is huge and it's a very sturdy buggy that never tips up. I also like how the handlebar can extend up, which is good for when the toddler's on the buggy board. I also like that I can use it as a travel system and put the car seat on it if I just want to nip into a shop. The only thing I would say is it is quite heavy when both kids are in it... and it does take a lot of space up in the boot." What's the best double stroller for most families? Our top-tested model for 2023 remains the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Double Stroller, which has the best intersection of comfort for the kids, quality wheels that can handle different terrain, ease of fold and reasonable pricing based on the years it will last you. It consistently earns top marks from our testers and on-staff parenting pros. If you have a tighter budget, only need to use a double stroller for short errands or are looking for a double stroller for travel to Disney, there's no beating the price of the Delta Children LX Side by Side Stroller. I chose it because I wanted my children so they could both see out. It fits through doorways fine. I love that I can take it on any terrain. It is much better off-road than my single one, so it's opened up more walks for us. It feels lovely to push and it fits in the boot of my small car. It’s very practical. It is a good price, too."

It is a heavy buggy to use. Although, it's lighter than the original version, now weighing in at 12.1kg. If you're going to be schlepping around more than one kiddo, many parents find a double stroller to be a great investment. Ever tried to push two separate strollers at one time? We don't recommend. And even though you can strap a tiny sibling into an infant carrier while you push the oldest, that gets tiresome after a few months because it's hard to bend down and tend to your eldest while wearing your youngest.I love my Out ‘n’ About double! It’s so easy and light to wheel, and narrower than it looks; it even fits through doors in my house. My kids are very comfy in it too. It’s heavy when folded down, and bulky in the boot of the car, but it does fit." The versatile Stadium Duo tandem pushchair gets its name thanks to the raised stadium-style seating that makes sure views of the world ahead aren't just limited to the child in the front seat. At just 63cm wide, the Duet is no wider than a single stroller and is very easy to manoeuvre. Lightweight at a mere 14.7kg and engineered to offer impressive ‘kerb-pop’ functionality, the Duet requires less force to ‘pop’ up the front wheels, making trips through the city an absolute breeze. Some parents said the seats aren’t as upright as they’d like and that some of the clips on the buggy can be a bit fiddly.

Suitable right from birth, the Evalite’s multi-position rear seat unit reclines flat whilst the front offers a 1 position recline and both come equipped with SoftTouch 5-point safety harnesses with covers. If you need a double buggy but don’t have lots to spend, the Graco Stadium Duo Tandem is a great cheaper option. The Nipper Double from Out n About is a robust side by side pushchair. It has a 360° turning front wheel which makes manoeuvring easy and the pedal brake keeps the buggy secure when stationary. Great for off-roading and trails, fits through any standard doorway, so it’s been fine in shops or on the train. Folds pretty flat. Very comfy to push. Good resale value! We’ve had ours three years and still going strong!" The Good Housekeeping Institute's engineering and parenting pros have reviewed 30 double strollers in the last seven years. We ask each manufacturer to provide American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) certification to verify that its stroller passed ASTM's safety standards. We then perform in-Lab and at-home tests to look at maneuverability, ease of pushing and turning, stability, ease of reclining the stroller, ease of getting the babies in and out of the stroller, ergonomics for the parents pushing the stroller, storage space and more. To accomplish this, we push the strollers over varied terrain, including pavement, grass, dirt and cobblestone, and we make obstacle courses to evaluate effort required and stability capabilities.Parents rave about how light it is to steer, and how narrow it is when moving through doorways or in shops. They love that the two seats can separately recline. It also has removable children’s trays with cup holders, making it a practical option for your little ones, and lots of storage space.
