I really like the chestnut brown leatherette handlebar, I’ve found it’s larger than other pushchairs but still a comfortable hold when pushing the pram. The handlebar is height adjustable making it easy to push for the smaller or taller parents. The bumper bar is also leatherette for when using the toddler seat which will add another element of luxurious style to the pram. It also has a clip for a cup holder which can be easily removed when not in use. The handle comes with a tether strap attached. Removable wheels are great The Quantum takes up quite a lot of room when folded in two parts and I think it has to be in two parts to fit in our car’s boot. It wouldn’t be our choice of pushchair if we were travelling by car and needed to fit a lot of luggage too but it’s fine for everyday use and we can easily fit 2-3 large bags of shopping along with the Quantum in our boot. We have a very small travel pram that we use for trips when we need luggage and the rest of the time we use the Quantum.

It may be pricey but this sturdy travel system offers a range of seating options from birth until around three years old (maximum 23kg). It can be adapted for growing families through the RumbleSeat attachment too, which transforms it into a double pram. The patented “you’re in control” fold helps you to fold the stroller at your pace, and makes sure that the stroller always stays clean. You can fold the stroller using just one hand. The simple brake can be activated and deactivated by pushing. The hood on the Quantum classic is huge. It has a brilliant four-tier eclipse which allows me to pull down the hood keeping Freddie all cosy inside. I’ve been using the hood with just the three tiers in use but would use the fourth if it was windy and Freddie needed extra coverage. It also has a flap on the top of the hood (peek-a-boo style) so I can see if he’s sleeping (or not!) Sometimes when they’re fast asleep you don’t want to disturb them by opening up the hood to take a look inside letting in sunshine or the wind so the lift up flap is brilliant. Additionally, the quantum classic has a section at the rear of the canopy that you can lift up allowing air to circulate through. This will be perfect in the summer days when we’re out walking with Freddie in the pram. The short answer is yes! This clever pushchair does not need a separate carrycot. The pushchair seat itself converts into a carrycot for your little one. It is well-padded using the carrycot insert and there is a lot of room. Add on the extra large canopy which provides full coverage, together with the peekaboo window and you have a real winner of a pushchair. Which car seats are compatible? We are still using this mode (although I don’t imagine it will be long until we go forward facing) and it is a really lovely pushchair to use – I especially love that the handle can move up and down for different heights. At 5ft 8 I often struggle with the correct handle height on pushchairs.

We’re enjoying using the Diono Quantum Classic, it looks stylish and is hugely practical. Without wanting to wish time away I’m looking forward to using the pram with its toddler seat too for all our days out and adventures. This can be used as a complete travel system. It’s good to know the pram comes with adapters as standard should you already be using the radius infant car seat. What we love It moves smoothly despite the small plastic wheels and the frame only weighs 8.1kg so it can be pushed with one hand (the carrycot adds an extra 4kg).
