About this deal

Players try to identify images on cards on the board. Once a player has identified an image, they are asked a trivia question related to the image. The player selects the level of difficulty of their question and decides how many chips to bet on whether they know the answer. Different question levels pay out different amounts: true/false questions pay 1:1, multiple-choice questions pay 2:1 and open-ended questions pay 3:1. Colourbrain A family-friendly quiz where every answer is a colour Players answer using multicoloured cards in Colourbrain. There’s also a neat game mechanic where you only score points if one player got the wrong answer. This stops anyone from racing into the lead by getting a streak of correct answers. This leads to some interesting tactical decisions. Do you wait to hear all four questions to work out the connection, or do you take a stab after two or three questions in the hope of guessing the link before the other players? You can only make one guess - if you’re wrong, you might help an opponent solve the link.

Eye Know has trivia from almost any category, including animals, objects, signs, professions, weather, transportation, celebrities, landmarks, tools, games, food, space, plants, appliances, company logos, musical instruments, activities, sports, politicians, clothing, car models, toys, weapons, countries, hair styles and capital cities. While Eye Know is appropriate for all ages, some of the content may only be recognized by an older audience and the spelling of certain words may prove difficult. If you correctly identified the image you receive one chip and have earned the right to play the trivia question to earn more chips. If your guess was incorrect your turn is over and the card is discarded When all players have had five turns, they may earn additional chips by cashing in sets formed by the colors of the cards they earned. If he or she gets it right, that player must face one out of three types of questions: true or false, multiple choice, or open-ended. The number on your second die will indicate the type of question you are destined to face. If you get it right you get to keep the card. If you get it wrong, the card is discarded and the next player will draw a new card to replace it.

Eye Know (game) - Wikipedia

Arrange 12 cards in a 4x3 grid on the game board. Place extra cards on the "draw pile" space. Hand out five chips to each player. Choose a player to go first. You must then choose which level of trivia question to attempt to answer. See the "YOUR BET" chart for a description of the payoff you can earn at each level, Eye Know is a board game that includes images, trivia and betting. It was created by Paul Berton and George Sinclair and published in 2008 by Wiggles 3D. Once each player has played five turns, and all players have had a chance to cash in their sets, the player with the most chips wins the game.Whether or not the question is answered correctly, the player who identified the image keeps that card. Trivia games like this one provide a fun way for families to come together, while also serving as great educational tools, teaching kids facts about people and places that they come across on a daily basis, but which they know little about. Of course, kids might not know the answers to many of the questions, but playing this game often enough will help build a solid general knowledge foundation. There are two halves to the game. First, two players go head-to-head in a buzzer round where they must list movies on a topic like “based on a book” or “set in the future” until someone fails to answer correctly or runs out of time. The victor then gets a chance to win cards by acting out one movie, reciting a quote from another and using just one word to describe the last, so their team can guess the correct title. The board game does a good job recreating the four rounds of the TV show. It can feel a bit clunky to play the first few times as each round is very different, but it should get easier the more you play. There’s even a little trophy for the winner to hold at the end of the game.
