About this deal

On a good day RGB and YUV can be very similar in quality and if your not aware of what to look for a lot of folk would have trouble distinguishing one from the other. CENELEC EN 50157-1 introduced AV.link as a standardised protocol to carry advanced control information between devices. It is a single-wire serial data bus and allows carrying remote control information and to negotiate analogue signal types (e.g. RGB). AV.link is also known as nexTViewLink or trade names such as SmartLink, Q-Link or EasyLink. It appears as the Consumer Electronics Control channel in HDMI. I'll test with a 9V supply, but I'm sure it's below what some of the parts will need to work (there's a lot going on inside with the power), but you may have to supply your own power supply if these don't come in within a week. I'm not even sure if we have 12V of a different type that you could use with an adaptor. I use 9V PSUs in many of the products now because when you've got voltage regulators they tend to waste power as they act like a big resistor burning up energy. So if you need 5 and are using 9V you have a typical drop of 1.5V leaving 1.5V * current wasted. Increase that to 12V and you get 4.5 * current wasted. That's a rough calculation to highlight that voltage regulation isn't free! Hence why closer to the voltage you need the better." Once again, this isn’t recommended unless you absolutely need it…but here’s more information: http://www.dansprojects.com/ps2sync.html YUV has the potential to deliver a Progressive scan Video signal whilst RGB equipped Video sources mostly output an Interlaced signal - this is the key difference for many folk who have a Progressive capable Display or TV.

Extron Rxi boxes will automatically convert RGsB to either RGBs or RGBHV, without any intervention at all. In most cases, you’d just add this as the last piece of equipment before your display. This can be pretty complicated and confusing, so I’d suggest this as an expert option. Multicore cable with conductors the width of a few hairs, with hardly any screening between cores on most cables, and made in China usually - not got much going for it apart from the cheap prices. Whichever you use, the first thing you need to do is figure out which wires correspond with which pin; not an easy task as there's no standard colouring. If you cut one in half, start by just looking. You should see three larger cables with their own shields around the center, these may well be coloured red, green and blue, though you may find one or more coloured differently. Anyway, these are your RGB cables (pins 1, 2, 3 with grounds 6, 7, 8). Some PlayStation 2 games – most notably “classic” software collections – will run in 240p, giving it the look of older consoles. Some people have complied a list of those games, just for reference :

Most consumer grade CRT TVs will be 15khz only yet most PCs will only output a 31khz+ signal. Therefore, we will need to output a 15khz signal from the PC. There are multiple ways to achieve this which are listed below:

You get to fiddle with all the timings yourself by programming your VGA card (e.g. setting modelines in X), so you can set exactly how much overscan the picture has. Custom over-molded MultiAV plug withintegrated strainrelief, manufactured in-house using injection-mould machine. An untested guide for this is available at http://ryoandr.free.fr/english.html , with the pinout being as below:

Q.Does the Light gun port on this cable allow you to play on Modern Flatscreen TV like, LCD, plasmas etc? The RAD2x cables plug into any SNES-style multi-out and output 480p HDMI. The GCVideo solutions are better, as they support all the resolutions the GameCube has to offer and are a true digital-to-digital solution. There are a few scenarios in which you might want to use them with your GameCube: http://bit.ly/rad2xnintendo
