About this deal

Small basket. The basket is accessible, but small. It is just not deep enough to fit anything aside from a diaper bag. The seat of the Moodd stroller is pretty roomy. Worried that your child will not fit? Here’s the seat specifications: At a touch of a button, the Quinny Moodd folds up like a dream and can be folded with seat unit attached in forward facing position. Supplied with adapters this pushchair can be transform into a stylish travel system compatible with colour matching Maxi-Cosi Pebble car seat or into a pram compatible with colour matching Quinny Foldable Carrycot. Moving up to the handle, pressing the button in the middle will allow you to telescope the foam covered handle from 96cms to 104cms. Fold It’s not the most practical pram for city use or our current circumstances, due to the weight and size. It would be great if you go on a lot of long walks in the countryside, and I do think we’ll use it more when we move house and don’t have to cope with stairs.

Although it doesn’t fare so well as an city / urban pram for reasons I’ll come on to shortly, it was great on longer walks, through parks and on uneven pavements and roads. I imagine it will be very useful in colder weather too This foldable carrycot offers the optimal comfort for a newborn on a stroll as it allows the newborn to travel lying flat. It can accommodate babies from birth to about 15 Ibs. The inside of the carrycot measures 29 inches by 11 inches, so it should be able to last till the baby is around 6 months old. With its stylish design and standout looks, the Quinny Moodd makes a bold statement – you and your child are going to be head turners in every street. Suitable from birth to 15 kg (approx. 3.5 years), this fashionable Quinny pushchair includes a colour matching baby nest designed for your newborn’s comfort and a large colour coordinated shopping basket (max. 5 kg) to store your child’s everyday essentials when out and about. I can safely conclude that this is a good Moodd. Quinny have taken one of their most popular models and brought it right up to date adding some nice touches and improving on previous weaknesses. There are attachments which mean the car seat can clip on for the first few months along with the carry cot. My baby is 6 months and we still use the car seat for ease and speed!Again, like the Buzz, the basket is extremely shallow and not of great use because the front axle stem limits the height of anything you may want to carry. The canopy size is decent but not the biggest in the market. It might not be big enough to shade your child from the morning or evening Sun, especially if you are living in a sunny climate. It would be ideal if Quinny had the option to convert to a floating canopy for full Sun coverage. Maxi Coxi carseat adaptors are included, so you don’t have to fork out extra for these – and it fits the Stage 1 Maxi Cosi carseats The beautiful baby nest matches the red in the seat but is lined with a contrasting coral orange jersey which includes a zip-in head rest and foot bumper. The straps all thread through the holes in the bottom to keep your baby safe, plus the top can be completely zipped off for warmer days. Although it is very attractive, there is not enough side protection afforded by the pushchair for my liking, so personally, I would probably opt to buy the new collapsible carrycot that fits the Moodd. The 5-point harness is adjustable so that as your child grows, you can increase the length of the harness with the sliders as well as adjust the height of the shoulder harness higher (there are 3 different height settings). The only concern is that the center release button could be too easy for an older toddler to open.

To make it more compact you can remove the seat and the rear wheels. The folded dimensions of the stroller with the seat are 31″L x 12″H x 26″W. Cons Parents will appreciate the carrycot's memory buttons and integrated carry handle in the sun canopy allowing them to remove the carrycot from the pushchair with just one hand. Thanks to the Quinny Foldable Carrycot your baby can rest comfortably in the lie-flat position. With its double mattress, this versatile carrycot can also be used for overnight sleeping. The carrycot has an additional flap on the sun canopy for extra protection on sunny days. Thanks to its clever and innovative design, the Quinny Foldable Carrycot can be easily folded flat for a truly practical storage solution. The Maxi-Cosi infant car seat provides seamless and easy transfers from the car to the streets. And what more can I complain about the stylish and futuristic looks of the Quinny Moodd stroller and its uber cool unfold mechanism? The caveats would probably be its weight, bulkiness and the moderately sized canopy. From six months+ you can use the normal seat, which can be in both forward and parent facing modes and has three levels of recline It also does NOT extend. It’s a pretty short leg rest that will be OK till your child is about 2 years old. After that, you will need to buy a new stroller. LOL. It fitted in a taxi with no problems, although the driver did have to help me to lift it in and out. There’s no danger of it falling over when you go round corners (this is as issue with the lightweight Maclaren) When you’ve finished with the carrycot or even for putting it in the car, a clever mechanism on the base will make the carrycot flat which makes this a great option for smaller spaces too! But if none of these issues are a factor – e.g. if you live in a house, on the ground floor, drive a car with a big boot, don’t have to use public transport – it’s definitely one to consider, especially as it’s so comfortable for babies and mine loved it.

As the seat is wipe-clean only, you should choose the darker-toned stroller if you are afraid of stain marks on the stroller over the years of usage. To fold the frame, apply the brake, then move the safety catch on the right shaft of the handle to allow the release button to slide upwards. At the same time, slide the button on the left and push down on the handle. An automatic clip holds the frame shut. For reassurance that your fame will remain shut when you put it in the boot of your car, a strap from the rear axle can be attached to the handle.Simply combine the Moodd stroller chassis with the Quinny Tukk Foldable Carrier, and it will be instantly transformed into a perfect and cozy (not to mention stylish) pram. Postcodes applicable: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 No more struggling with complicated unfolding procedures, especially if you are carrying your baby in your hand and getting off the cab! I really like the idea of using the Quinny Tukk Foldable Carrier with the Moodd stroller frame as a pram. Your baby can comfortably fall asleep while you take her out for long walks and upon reaching home, you can continue to leave her to sleep soundly in the carrycot pram. What We Like About The Quinny Moodd Stroller

Suitable from birth to 15kg, it comes with a padded ‘baby nest’ cocoon that fits on top of the seat when reclined and is secured with the straps. We haven’t used this but it looks pretty cosy These strollers are created to fit the urban lifestyle. They’re versatile, nimble, and unbelievably clever. They maneuver like a dream. All their strollers are lightweight and flexible, for easy folding and transportation for young families on the go. The tyres are inflatable, making it really smooth to sit and and great to push. It comes with a pump which is stored in the basket. The Moodd is bold and sophisticated ? and it folds and unfolds with zero effort. It also pairs seamlessly with all components of the travel system, so your baby can travel in comfort and style from day one.Genrally i enjoyed moodd on pics but not much as a main daily puschair and i woud not buy it again. Read more Bulky. This stroller will not fit in any trunk. You might have to remove the rear wheels to fit it in. This unique-looking T-shaped bumper bar reminds me of the roller coasters. I personally like to have a bumper bar that goes all the way around, so that my daughter Sophia has some support if she decides to lean to the side. This bumper bar is removable, but not swing away.
