I do not like layering it with Amber by Nemat because after 30 mins it starts to smell floral on me, which I don't like. I never got the reviews that said it smells like cakes, I still dont but I can get the vibe of vanilla frosting instead. I think any fragrance with a smokiness really pulls on my skin, which I’m not a huge fan of but this is really nice. It does last a long time like the oil and it helps the projection (if you find that the oil stays close to the skin). This is funny to me because here I am having invested in some relatively niche/complex fragrances, and I'm still getting stopped on the street for this one most of the time. On me it lasts a long time, but the great thing about it being so small is you can carry it around in your purse! I got the square dabber bottle for the classic look, but find that the opening is a little too large and subject to pouring out a glob of oil if I'm not careful.There's a kind of vanilla I don't like in perfume, I'm not sure how to describe it but something that's too sharp or bright (like the Nest Vanilla Oil).
