Ours started to heat up just over five minutes after being switched on and was perfectly toasty in less than half an hour. The 5cm-fabric is fleecy, soft and warm (but not too soft or too warm), and the cables and connectors are well positioned and unobtrusive. Before washing, the connector cables should be disconnected.
