When Harry, Ron, and Hermione are at the Lovegood home, Xenophilius, desperate to save his only child, betrays them to the Death Eaters in the hope that doing so will secure Luna's release.Both of the Alphas in The Half Blood Luna also have domineering and controlling characteristics, even though both Alphas manifest their characteristics differently. At which point he would make me drink just a drop of his blood, not enough to heal me, but enough to bring me back, and then he would make me continue counting from where we left off.
