Unfortunately, the Naga X's onboard memory only supports a single profile. That's a low number considering the mouse’s price. FOR GAMERS. BY GAMERS. - Razer Inc.

The new opticals will probably last longer than the previous switches used by Razer, even by their nature, but if they fail, there are already replacement options on the market, albeit not too many as of yet (as you can't put mechanical switches to mice that use optical ones by default, so the technology needs more time to be more widely used to have more options on the aftermarket). Also, you can easily assign patterns to the RGB lighting zones. The iCue software also provides you with a very helpful calibration tool. The first prince was smug, sly, but stupid. He offered you pay but not the respect a master assassin deserves, so you turned your knife against him. Doors to allegiances open to an ambitious prince slayer, but you want something more than quiet whispers and fear. You've never had a taste for pompous and entitled boys, but there's someone within the castle who could bend beneath your fingers given the right circumstances. Language: English Words: 2,591 Chapters: 2/5 Comments: 11 Kudos: 180 Bookmarks: 15 Hits: 1,729 When holding the mouse, your hand melds into place comfortably due to the mouse’s excellent design. With most mice, your hand rests on and around the mouse, but with the Naga X, your hand really nestles in quite comfortably. The changes aren’t limited to weight, however, and the few I noticed first were downgrades. There are no swappable panels, for one, so shifting to a traditional 6-button setup is out of the question. Razer has also changed the finish to a more gritty matte plastic that feels more grainy under the fingers. The rubber grip on the right side of the Pro is now textured plastic and really doesn’t work well to support a mouse of this size, constantly causing my pinky to slip anytime I need to lift it up. That said, this is also a much cheaper mouse and concessions have to be made. Leaving the interchangeable side panels for the higher tier mouse is an acceptable trade-off, but making the Naga X more slippery is not.You just have to bear the irritation of your baby's hedonistic father with stony disposition and firmness. He can't shake you, no matter how skilled he becomes in finding your insecurities. Language: English Words: 57,268 Chapters: 12/15 Comments: 184 Kudos: 811 Bookmarks: 95 Hits: 13,642 For all that the Naga X gets right, there are some downsides. The biggest thing to be aware of is that this is still very much a mouse targeted at MMO gamers. While you can certainly use the 12 side buttons in other games, they might be a bit over-the-top in most cases.

Razer Naga X Review - IGN

You can create as many button profiles as you want in the Synapse, but only one profile can be saved on Naga’s memory.

Yup. Buy new, actual quality microswitches like japanese Omron D2F-01F, Kailh GM 8.0 or Kailh GM 4.0 for about 1-2 USD/piece, and solder them in after you desoldered whatever crap Razer put in it on the assembly line. For 5 USD tops, you have a better mouse than it ever was, and it will stay that way for a considerably longer time. Years. : D Hey guys, since all my kinktober works are so damn short, I've decided to lump them all together into a single work. However, the Corsair Scimitar is only suited for MMO, and that makes it hard to use as a regular everyday mouse. As I began playing (casual/tactical) shooters on PC, i came to appreciate having the number row (weapon/equipment) controlled by my thumb. Note that I play games like Battlefield and Insurgency, not Quake. Generally, it's not important for me to keep perfect aim while I use the number row, due to weapon switch delay and whatnot. I've also found the buttons helpful for games with lots of inventory items, like Minecraft and Sea of Thieves. Directly switching to weapons/items is much faster and more reliable than scrolling (or radial menus to some extent), and i don't like taking my hand off of WASD for so long. The mouse feels responsive, the buttons feel good, and the cable has zero resistance. The numberpad buttons are all at slightly different angles, so it's easy to feel the buttons you want to press. I'm not enough of a mouse expert to say much more than that.

Razer Naga X Review: The king of MMO gaming mice improves on

Since 2009, Razer has offered the Naga line of MMO mice, each competing to be the best gaming mouse for MMO players. Each model has offered between 6 and 12 buttons, with updates over the years. Enter 2021, and we have the Razer Naga X with a 12-button thumbpad, RGB and the latest in Razer mouse technology. Your caught your boyfriend cheating on you with someone you considered a friend, so you're going to inflict the same pain on him. That's doubly true when it comes to day-to-day work, though you can get pretty creative with bindings if you want to. Still, unless you play MMOs, you're probably better served by a more standard mouse layout unless you have some unique workflows. Naga X MMO gaming mouse Razer announces the brand-new Naga X MMO gaming mouse

The main downsides (for me) of the Redragon were it's weight and poor grip. The ring finger and pinky rests were too sloped to get a firm grip. If it’s hard for you to decide which one you want, the Scimitar or the Razer. Here is a review of both Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite vs. Razer Naga X. Do these mice still have lousy durability? I went through several Nagas during the several years I played WoW, before I finally got the hint to stop buying them. The Corsair Scimitar RGB elite is three inches wide. It features a groove for your right finger on the textured area on the right side. Compared to some other FPS mice, the Corsair has a different ergonomic feel, which is a pleasant one. The Corsair is 119.4mm x 77mm x 42.4mm, and it weighs about 122g. I bought the Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite, for its grip and adjustable number pad. At the time, I could not find a mouse under about 120g. I thought the mouse felt okay, definitely better than the Redragon regarding grip. Unfortunately, it was still heavy, and the number buttons were too easy to press (many accidental presses). The rubber grip is also a little rough/pokey. Needless to say, i was having some regrets about the mouse's price tag.Gaming mice have evolved over the past years. But we are finally getting some amazing MMO mice now. The Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite features the iCue software. With the software, you can program the macro bank to be able to do whatever you want. The buttons’ programming is pretty easy. You just need to select one of the buttons, hit the record icon, and proceed with whatever you want that button to do, and it is saved. Despite the fact that it has so many inputs, it would have been nice if Razer put more Naga Pro premium features in the Naga X. Specifically, I wish more mice had tilting scroll wheel inputs, which are great for macros and miscellaneous keys in custom setups. I also wouldn’t have minded if Razer kept more RGB lighting. As it stands, only the scroll wheel and side pad numbers light up. I assume these features were taken out to cut down on weight and/or price, but they would have gone a long way towards making the mouse feel more substantial. With only weight and the standard MMO side pad to set it apart, the Naga X feels a bit basic on paper. Finally, i heard about the Razer Naga X last week and bought it immediately. Best Buy let me return the Corsair. During testing, I found that hitting 1-3 and 10-12 were pretty easy, as they occupy the outside edges of the thumbpad. The issue was in the 4-9 buttons. They're simply too close together, and the differentiation in angle isn't big enough to consistently hit the right button. The buttons are different heights, but the differences are so slight that it doesn’t matter. It's very easy to press the wrong buttons in the middle rows.
