About this deal

Kenzo's perfumes tend to be a cut above other offerings from designer houses. From Ça Sent Beau to Jungle, I have been impressed with the creativity of this house. Flower is no different. Its distinctive bottle - tall, thin, slightly tilted in the manner of a flower leaning against a vase - is both pretty and original, suiting the name and concept of this perfume beautifully. The perfume itself is quite lovely - floral, obviously, but with fruity and woody nuances that serve to enhance the florals. Deceptively light, the drydown is powdery and the performance better than average. It is very feminine, given its floral sweetness, but is well-blended and quite unusual. The first spray is really strong and has clear rose and violet notes, and a strong baby powder accord. I only noticed a trace of mandarin after seeing it listed in the notes.

I got a little tester of this. Tbh I can't really distinguish all that many notes here. It's super soft, clean and wispy. Gentle musk and a faint idea of vanilla "dominate". There's a touch of powder too and a most timid soft floral note. The little sweetness I get is VERY understated. If I smelled this on a woman I might wonder if she just uses a very fancy soap. Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health. With FLOWER BY KENZO L’Absolue, KENZO is celebrating its favourite flower: the poppy. Among its lush petals, a powdery heart bursts with liveliness. In a gust of air, the flower casts its powder to the wind, sprinkling the world with thousands of unfurling buds. Saffron, the precious ingredient in this new perfume for women, blends with a bouquet of Orange Blossom and Damascena Rose Absolute. In the base notes, the fragrance distills sensual Vanilla Musks. This more intense addition to the FLOWER BY KENZO range reveals every aspect of the FLOWER BY KENZO woman: a poetic activist. KENZO stands with Masami Charlotte Lavault, an activist flower farmer and founder of the first flower farm in Paris, and supports her cause to: “make ecology irresistible!” If your habit is to not overlapping other fragrances, after a few hours you'll sense it lies on a warm bouquet, recalling the classic version. Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.Flower has quite a fruity opening, sweet yet aquatic. The orange is sweet yet fresh, and I get a hint of melon. A light, dewy rose note emerges shortly afterwards, joined by violet. Instead of the beautiful delicacy of the flower itself, this is candied Parma violets. It is almost overwhelmingly sweet here, not my favourite thing. When the sweetness subsides, the baby powder accord that many reviewers below have mentioned comes to the fore. It reminds me of a more intense, sweeter version of Prada Infusion d'Iris. Some cassis is evident here. Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS. The base notes of musk and vanilla are lovely and lend themselves well to this fragrance, but the incense ruins things for me somewhat and makes Flower by Kenzo too smoky a fragrance for me. I like my fragrances to smell a bit lighter and more floral and this is not it. There is also a nice comforting and cozy quality to this scent. A perfect bedtime scent and neutral enough to wear to an office setting. Maybe there is a maternal association with the baby powder profile but it’s also just very soft and rounded out. It has a floaty cloud-like vibe. I think Flower could work in any season, but especially in spring and summer. It seems light, fresh, and green enough to stand up to heat. In fact, I’m curious as to how the notes will develop on warm skin.

Up close it smells a lot richer, still soft..but richer. U[p close is the only time I can really tell there's something deeper in here, but in the air? Powder bomb.In my opinion, the scent begins slightly "in your face" with a very fresh sharpness, which most likely comes from the ginger. Paired with the floral note of violets, awesome!

The other one Cyclosal is used a lot when working with Iris so..I'm wondering if that's adding to the powder here? Overall, it's a classic floral/powdery with a bit of sweetness scent, ideal for all year round especially spring with very good performance. Spray with moderation in summer as it could be overwhelming, strong and potent. I adore wearing this in warmer months, but it is really unique and crisp in colder months too. I collect powdery scents, but this is, to my surprise, way too green for me to perceive it as powdery, to be honest. It's a decent smelling fragrance, don't get me wrong... It reminds me of summer fields, somehow... when it's too hot outside and it hasn't rained for couple of days...it also reminds of some dry herbs, maybe...It took everything in me not to blind buy Flower for the bottle alone, which is adorable and reminiscent of growing up in the early aughts, so I mustered up some self control and got a sample instead. While I don’t think this would be a safe blind buy for everyone, it definitely would have been for me as someone who appreciates powdery florals and musks. I’d wear this around my old boss or if I worked in retail and I didn’t want people to come close to me, like in a good way I guess. Dry down becomes a tad bitter. I googled hawthorn and is a toxic/decaying smell?
