About this deal

If you prefer, you can simply install one of these third party pedal plates to create a completely custom pedal setup. I don’t think this is what Thrustmaster were thinking about when deciding to let users remove the pedals. But it is a nice option to have. The more customization with almost any product is good! Read our full review of the T3PA Pro pedals where we compare them to these T3PA pedals, and find out which you should buy. The conical brake mod is where these pedals really come in to their own. The T3PA-Pro pedals come with two brake mods in fact. The first is the spring based brake mod from the T500RS pedals. This is OK, and effectively makes the brake pedal stiffer. You can also mount the pedals from above. Effectively, by inverting the pedal mounting, you create a set of pedals which matches a real road car. This gives ultimate immersion when driving these styles of cars, and even better throttle and pedal control in certain situations.

The TX (clamp) never shifted once during my testing, even on my cheap desk with its waxy wood finish.

Serious strength lurks inside this luxury peripheral.

The same applies with the Fanatec shifter, as with the handbrake. Simply use the compatibility method detailed above to utilise a Fanatec shifter with a Thrustmaster wheel. Again, this method works across PC, Xbox and PS5. These pro pedals bring a lot to the table. They combine elements from other Thrustmaster pedals to create the best Thrustmaster pedal set to date. The option to choose between two sets of brake mod and the customization of the pedal layout make for one of the most versatile pedal sets on the market. The footrest features an almost industrial style metal grip plate. And quite honestly, we really dig it. It looks hefty and it isn’t as slippery as you may think from first impressions. This allows you to run a closer brake and throttle pedal for heel and toe downshifting, if that’s your style.

You may think on first impression that these look identical to the already existing T500RS pedals. And, well they are certainly very similar. But that is for good reason. The T500RS pedals feature the best product design of any Thrustmaster pedal set to date. If you were wondering whether all the jargon about the servo means holds any weight, I could tell you that after one race, I was a total convert to the dual-belt system. It's the smoothest racing wheel I've used, with zero notches felt in subtle turns, as with some gear-driven models. It's the most substantial resistance I've felt, too.But despite not being able to compete with a true loadcell brake. The T3PA-Pro conical brake is almost, almost there. It adds a new dimension in terms of braking quality compared to other Thrustmaster solutions. And it should be your go to setup for a Thrustmaster pedal set. Note: On PlayStation®5, your racing wheel also works with all PS4™ compatible games listed in the LIST OF PLAYSTATION®4 GAMES section. We would highly recommend paying the extra cost to add these T3PA pedals to your Thrustmaster racing wheel bundle. We’ve spent a lot of time testing the T3PA pedals to be able to bring you our in depth review, and show you why you should upgrade to this pedal set. So we have covered how to use Fanatec pedals with a Thrustmaster wheel. But what if you fancy doing things the other way around. What if you want to use Thrustmaster pedals with a Fanatec wheel.

We would confidently say that you will be able to drive better with these pedals compared to the two pedal set. The clutch pedal allows the introduction of heel and toe braking and downshifting. And the brake mod allows you to have much better control over your overall braking technique. They allow for floor mounted or inverted pedal mounting positions. This in turn, allows you to set up your pedals to mimic a range of driving setups. You can floor mount them for formula style driving. Or invert them for GT and road cars. Thrustmaster have been making the right steps towards the ultimate pedal set for a while. The base pedals you get with some Thrustmaster wheels come with only two pedals and are just not fit for sim racing.
