Just plug and play and it will recognize your system. UP5 Ready: Our version of the Brook UFB already has the J2 connector pre-soldered so if you're adding the Brook UP5 board, just plug and play i have always used JLFs and either sanwa/seimitsu buttons, as they are cheap enough to not be a big deal when they wear out. I was going to initially get a Mayflash but heard the latency was terrible so I got this with the intention of trying out and returning if I wasn't satisfied. I am satisfied. As of now, the Brook Super Converter and Wingman series are allowed by EVO, one of the most popular global tournament events. Often EVO's policies are adopted at smaller tournaments. This policy is a tentative acceptance - should the converter become disabled via Sony firmware update before EVO, it could face a ban. You can learn more about it here. perhaps also take a look at this spreadsheet MiSTeraddons made that has a rather exhaustive list of controllers and latency tests UP5Firmware Update for Universal Fighting Board, PS4 Fighting Board Plus, PS4+ Fighting Board with Audio Works perfectly in all platforms, including PS4 without the 8 minutes disconnect, of course. In windows10 it works perfectly in the default XboxOne mode, but you can also force Xbox360 mode and it works too. Brook gives players control of the latest generation Playstation console - the PS5. It's important to note, however there are some limitations to this compatibility: sanwa parts were what everyone had a couple years ago, but now im seeing more korean levers instead of JLFs.I'm sure I could save money by not being indecisive about what console I want to play on, but this PCB is so convenient. Not sure what the latency is on it, but it's working a treat so far. The Brook UP5 may see additional compatibility with Brook's other control PCBs, but at this time is not compatible with the following devices:
