Our hand-made copper stills are nearly ready to go, so we thought it was high time we gave you an update. Installation of our distillery is happening right now, and following tests of everything from the operational side to the water we will be using, we hope to be ready to produce our first batches of BrewDog spirit at the start of April. It is a smooth gin and I liked it with a plain tonic water so that I could taste the new gin properly.

Crafted in the world’s first triple bubble copper-pot still at our HQ in Aberdeenshire, LoneWolf gin stands apart from the pack. Not many gin makers can make this claim, but to us it’s the only way to do it, because we believe that quality is the cornerstone of our DNA.All of this care and attention delivers a citrus rush – led by grapefruit – almost as distinctive as the St Austell Brewery’s Proper Job ale, but rapidly releases a range of other flavours, including almonds, coriander and cardamom.

Made in Scotland by spirit lovers, and inspired by centuries of distilling know-how, LoneWolf paves the way for a never-ending pursuit of perfection. Pungent at first, the flavours give way to an enchanting blend of floral lavender and surreptitious pine. The original recipe gin (which features punchy botanicals along the lines of Scots pine, lavender, fresh grapefruit peel, and more) is allowed to macerate with fresh Sicilian lemon peels for seven days, resulting in a full-on citrus flavour bonanza. You’ll receive a limited-edition numbered case of the first vodka and the first gin our Lone Wolf distillery produces.
