About this deal

Have you used Aldi Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes before? If so, how did you discover them? I don't remember but I haven't bought them in a long time. This thread is for the 120 Netmums families who’ve been selected to try the Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes.

Fragrance-free products seem to be regarded as synonymous with care, sensitivity, and purity, especially where skin is concerned. Of course, for many people, fragrance is an important part of being and feeling clean, especially when poop is involved, which is why so many parents welcome fragranced wipes. But if your baby has particularly sensitive skin, it might be worth avoiding wipes with fragrance. I don't want perfumes that dry out and can irritate to be used on my child's skin. I also feel sensitive wipes are less likely to have harsh chemicals contained within. Charlene: Yes, I would recommend this product with no hesitation. I have used them previously too. As mentioned they are great value for money, well designed, made from a strong material to avoid your fingers breaking through the wipe which some well known brands have had this happen previously which is never a good thing.Soft on baby’s delicate skin, thus, are great for super sensitive skin and that's a plus for newborn babies and those with sensitive skin. How to choose the best baby wipes for you and your baby Should I buy disposable or reusable baby wipes? I buy extra sensitive wipes because both my children have sensitive skin and my son has eczema so we were keen to test them. Would you consider changing from your current brand of wipes to Aldi Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes and why? Yes if I can find them in my local store They are really nice and soft and come out one at the time (unlike some brands which make you take out multiple wipes a time!)

Important factors in buying wipes are: sensitivity, cost, previously good experience or recommendations. As well as 94 percent water, Mama Bamboo infuses their wipes with aloe vera and coconut extract. The intention is to make them as soothing as possible, and certainly aloe vera has healing properties, but in the strength it’s present in these wipes? We remain unconvinced, but we didn’t notice any rashes or irritation and our kids’ skin is pretty sensitive. We liked that these wipes are compostable – they will break down in three months in your compost bin – a vast improvement on sending plastic wipes to landfill. It depends where I'm shopping that week due to discounts, type of food shop, etc. I use Tesco and Asdas and if on offer Pampers sensitive wipes.Prepping the wipes for use is also easy: you just soak them in water in the fresh container with a little bit of the relevant essential oil. You’ll have to go through a little trial and error to work out what moistness works for you. Disposable wipes are by far the easier option, but there are certainly advantages to investing in reusable wipes. Firstly, the cost – yes, you’ll have to pay more upfront, but they will last for years, making reusable wipes more cost-effective overall than any of their disposable counterparts. Secondly, you’re not contributing to landfill or any potential plastic pollution. What other baby wipes do you use and why? I use Sainsbury's own brand and Huggies. I don't have any preference I try different ones and I use new ones as long as they don't give a rash. No, I had not used these wipes before. I was aware Aldi did baby wipes, but I'm new shopper at Aldi and I wasn't sure of the quality. I currently use a range of wipes from other stores, depending on where I shop when I need them. I use Asda, Wilkinson’s, Pampers,Morrison’s, Tesco.

Since baby wipes are something any parent or caregiver is going to reach for – multiple times a day, for a likely minimum of two years – it’s worth doing at least some rudimentary mathematics to work out what you can afford month on month. Best baby wipes: At a glance Rebecca: The only thing I would change about this product is sometimes I have found it difficult to get the wipes out. I can either pull one and end up with loads , or I can't pull them and end up with a clump of them. It's hard when doing it one handed when holding the baby. I have used wipes in the past where they are designed for only one wipe to come out at a time. READ NEXT: The best running buggies to buy The best baby wipes to buy in 2023 1. Cheeky Wipes Premium All-in-One Kit: The best reusable baby wipes In it are 25 wipes (you choose between cotton, organic cotton or bamboo); essential natural oil solution for both clean wipes and for dirty wipes; two storage boxes – one for fresh wipes and one for used, plus two storage bags for when you’re out. Lastly, there’s a cotton laundry bag for washing the dirty wipes in.Yes, I would because firstly I am shopping more and more at aldi and it makes more sense to buy all food, etc in one place and also the these are good for the money. I am happy with the performance of the wipes and think these are excellent value for money. The main downside of reusable wipes is that they need to be carefully and thoroughly washed. Many parents, despite all their best intentions, simply don’t have the time. Do baby wipes have an impact on the environment? I want to the wipes to be mostly water and I do like aloe vera as this helps heal the skin. Alison: The only thing I would change would be to make the Mamia Sensitive Baby Wipes bio-degradable. With all of the concerns about waste these days, knowing that the wipes were not contributing to this problem would make you feel much more comfortable in using them. Other than that the wipes are fantastic and highly recommended.
